The scariest thing about that whole scene was how well they did and how little they panicked.

I like it in the books when they got their drinks, started drinking, and then Ron was disgusted at what a cappuccino tastes like!

A good ten seconds after Voldemorts name is mentioned and the Death Eaters have already apparated there, complete with plumbers' outfits and gear. I am surprised at their efficiency.

I love how quickly Ron and Hermione reacts when Harry said "down!!". If it was me I would be like" What? Why?"😂😂

What I like about this scene is not only of how observant and wary Harry becomes given the situation now, but also that Ron and Hermione didn’t need to turn around as much. Their friendship is so strong they can practically just read it off Harry’s face to know they are in danger and understood to get down immediately. And they do it almost calmly and well-prepared. They’ve gone through so much in their last 6-7 years together. It’s almost sad to say that it’s normal routine when danger strikes.

The funniest thing in the whole scene was how the waitress could hear their orders, but can’t hear the cafe being destroyed LOL🤣🤣🤣

In the books: Harry was under the invisibility cloak, Ron hated the drink, and the death eaters were sitting down. After, the woman had to be obliviated, so did the death eaters.

i wonder what the waitress thought when she came in. Stuff was smashed, their were two people unconscious/possibly dead on the floor and three teenagers looking pumped and aggressive who had been acting weirdly earlier.

Just want to mention that Harry, Ron and Hermione beat Dolohov in this scene. A man who knocked down Moody in OotP and in the Battle of Hogwarts he killed Lupin. He was one of the most powerful Death-Eaters out there, alongside Bellatrix and Snape. Beating him is quite a feat.

IT's fking crazy how the Harry Potter movies evolved. It went from a sweet little kiddie movie, to a fking Sopranos style hit job in the middle of a cafe.

I love how you can hear the ambient sounds get rapidly louder as Harry realizes one of the guys is pulling out his wand. It puts you in Harry's head, as his senses massively expand with the onset of adrenaline.

She's listening to "Hey Soul Sister", which didn't come out until 2009. The books are set between 1991 and 1998. This is unacceptable and I would like a refund, thank you very much.

I've always wanted to see a wizard specialized on defensive spells in a duel like this. This right here looks more like a gunfight, just with wands. Magic could do so much more.

Hah Ron’s face though when he didn’t know what Hermione ordered

I still can't get over how amazing the trio's acting is in this, they nailed their character's fighting styles: Harry's is, naturally, all over the place. His form is terrible but his spells are incredibly powerful. You can practically hear future Auror instructors yelling at their pupils "STOP jerking your arm around like that, the Boy Who Lived can get away with it but until you save the Wizarding World, I want a proper duelling stance from you!" Harry's fighting is full of fire and passion, jets of magic shooting every which way from a form that, by all accounts, shouldn't work but does. Hermione, of course, has textbook form. Arm raised at shoulder height, elbow slightly bent, calm and stationary before saying the incantation. Cold, calculated, a sight to behold. Ron, however....Ron is a force to be reckoned with. The way he casts that spell from behind the table, you can tell he's grown up in the Wizarding World. The spell flows from him, cast wordlessly and mid-motion. Magic is so second-nature to him that it's timed perfectly. I just think it's so cool how each of their fighting styles perfectly represent each character.

I like when in the book Ron says “No wonder I couldn’t get my wand out, you’ve packed my old jeans.”

I love how this scene feels more like a random shootout instead of a Harry Potter wand fight.

Anyone else notice that ron doesnt know the muggle world well. So he's confused when the waitress comes to get the order so he just goes with what hermione orders.

I've just noticed waitress taking orders while she's listening music loudly and she can understand orders but she couldn't hear all the rumble deatheaters did🤔

To those wondering how Dolohov was defeated by the trio, a few things: 1. His Protego is only as powerful as theirs, so he is just as vulnerable to their spells as they are to his, so he needs to keep down to dodge their spells. 2. He may have been taken aback by their evasion of the initial attack, which would have made him less focused. 3. In Fantrastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, we see that Grindelwald has used a power-sapping spell to change his appearance to that of Percival Graves. Dolohov may have used a similar spell, a drain on his magic power, to disguise himself as a Muggle laborer.

Ron was right when he said to harry that they wont last 2 days without hermione.. imagine after being attacked by the death eaters at the wedding they were thinking on going back to burrows or going to leaky cauldron 😂😂😂

The most iconic thing here os when the waiter asks them what they want to order, hermione said she wanted a cappucino and then the waiter asks Ron and it took seconds for Ron to answer because he has no idea what muggle food is, so he just went for want she ordered and so did harry 😅

You dont know how eargasm this scene was in big screen. Really good!

Hermoine is the real mvp

Dolohov deserved a much more prominent role in the movies, when I first read the books he was at least on par with Bellatrix in terms of how much dread he caused. The guy's an absolute monster in the books and Arben Bajraktaraj is such a good casting choice; yet he was criminally underutilised.

This scene is actually very iconic. Its refreshig too them three out of any magic related places, like as simple as a diner or even on Londom street.

This has to be one of the best scenes in Harry Potter. There's something so amazing about it that I can't put into words.

This is still the coolest scene in DH1 for me..

In the book, they clean up the café, AND modify the waitress' memory.

DH pt 1 was one of the most underrated in the series. It was like a war era spy thriller but with wizards.

Whenever I was younger, this scene felt so different. I had thought that Harry yanked Ron and Hermione away. I didn't even notice he was the one who took out the first Death Eater like two seconds after they all dove away. I had been so confused as a kid. Like "How is the first one already down? What happened?"

Dolohov was notorious and fearsome during Order - Phase 1. He killed two of Molly's brothers and he was very scary. Can't believe he was stunned by three young wizards who just passed school when the whole Order and Aurors were chasing him ..

Wow...i am actually surprised right now. I never watched the "newer" Harry Potter movies, but just stumbled upon this video and it's crazy how mature and serious this scene is. Like a scene out of a gangster thriller. Seems like i have to watch both Deathly Hallows Pt1 and Pt2.

Notice how the death eaters show up right after they say voldermort? Almost as if the death eaters or voldermort himself can detect when someone says his name. Maybe there's a reason people call him "you know who"

I am so shocked how quick the trio is at reacting to certain situations. I would have frozen there for 2 seconds (if i luckily got patient) but the trio managed to do it with in 0.0000001 second🤯

The only thing I don't like is how the effect of every spell is a stunner 🤣. Stupefy lost its red glow. The petrification lost its statue like effect from the first movie...
