You realise this is just a show, right? and even the ones shown here don't look so "nice," as you'd put it. Why don't you try living in the standard average prison, with people who treat you like an animal and see how "nice," it really is, it is why going to prison doesn't solve the problems, since many people can be changed, sending them to prison just hides a problem and eventually you'll just run out of space.

U can go to jail for letting your chicken cross the road in Quitman, Georgia.(idk if this is true, I just read it off online) You can go to jail or get fined for selling chewing gum in Singapore without a license(the law changed, I’m Singaporean) most of the people in jail is not as bad and a lot of cases there is someone convicted but that person didn’t do the deed. There is one study by a professor where he tested five(?)(maybe ten)students(?)and pretended that they have found their loved ones dead and they know that they’ve done it Most of them denied obviously but 1 or 2 of them actually “confessed” to the crime that they killed their loved ones. They are able to create fake scenarios that wasn’t real but the way they said it makes it sound so real. So I’m just saying that not everyone in jail is bad, some were convicted wrongly.
