MMA fighter and former WWE champion, CM Punk, is partnering with PAWS to fight for the Underdog!
CM Punk and his wife, AJ Mendez, adopted Larry from PAWS Chicago in 2015. Before calling them family, Larry had trouble finding people willing to work through his challenges. Now, Larry’s officially a Wonderdog.

Its funny CM Punk describing Larry was pretty much CM Punk describing himself. Mood swings, snappy at times, but overall means well and misunderstood. Awesome story and love Punk always!

CM Punk comes off as a real prick. Until you get to know him. Once you do, he's one of the sweetest, most sensitive, most likable, most passionate people in the world.

Maybe it's because I'm from New York but I have never found CM Punk a jerk at all. The way I saw it he acts just like every other New Yorker I've ever encountered so I'm used to the way he acts. He's got alot of sarcastic humor that people have perceived of as being a jerk. I see right through it all.

@@theLGI93 absolutely agree, if people were able to gather their own opinions and not believe everything they read on the internet than I feel like Phil wouldn’t get as much hate as he does, I have two cats of my own that both are rescues and they have changed my life so much. He’s a good man and deserves a better rap than what he is given by the press

Say what you want to about C.M. Punk as both a person & a pro wrestler, respectively: You have to give him credit for partaking in something like this, for example & being able to give Larry a better life than what he had, before speaks volumes & I commend him for that.

@@matthewschultz3078same I love Punk too, nobody especially in the wrestling business is a perfect person, and Punk can be a dick sometimes but that doesn't mean that I'll stop being a fan. Brawl Out pissed me off a bit at first cause I love both the elite and Punk. Ace can go to jail with BJ Whitmer tho fuck Ace. But it's been 9 months since and I'm like hey, at least they might have resolved things cause obviously Collision is built around Punk and Lord knows what he'll say this weekend.

Recently, Jon Stewart was in bits over the passing of his dog. I can't imagine how Punks is going to feel - it's so obvious he loves that dog so much. Stay healthy Larry - Punk needs you.

Had a little tear in my eye. Gosh am I emotional these days, but the truth is this is so wholesome, and Punk, AJ and Larry are so great that knowing they're living happy together makes me happy. Truely great hearts, I can also relate to being treated as a misfit by some people here and there, and that's why when the time is right I'm going to rescue yet another animal (got two cats that came from the streets all the way to my house and got my approval for calling it "home" right away)

Love this! It's great to hear humans recognize that animals have our same emotions and moods. As a D.V.M., I see humans expect their animals to behave and for them to react differently to the same situations their parents wouldn't like. I highly commend CM Punk for not only adopting, but loving without conditions.
