I am glad you like your K3. And you know that while speaking with you here, I decided to buy Comete 40th anniversary. I am still waiting for it to arrive. But can`t wait to test and review them.

I never used pmc ob1, but what i know if you have external dac, than go with music fidelity m6s. It is much stronger in every sense preamp than k3. It is my recommendation, but k3 offers dac, bluetooth and bunch of inputs and outputs for definetly more verisitile device. It is all regarding your needs.

Sorry for second post, I quickly read it and confused Emit/Evoke the speakers. Well Evoke are really mighty fine speakers. I dont know, if you miss a bit treble punch maybe go with B&W 706 S3? It will add a more rhythmics and punch yo sound. Or to go with KEF R3 Meta if you need transparency and more separation in sound. Or maybe stay in the lane of Dynaudio, with Evoke or Emit 20. Sometimes if you like the brand it is great to stay in that sonic spectrum.

​@@HIFIDaydreamingI love the sound of the Dynaudio Evoke 10. I listened to the Bower 606 s3 and 706 s3 speakers and my ears bled, too much treble for me, so I'm sticking with the Dynaudio. Thanks for your tips.

The problem is, i don't usually upgrade up, as i buy gear to review. Currently i have arcam a15, but that is going to change soon for something i want to review. Maybe marantz stero 70, don't know yet. You can get naim nait xs3, denon pma 2500 or rega elex the new one. Also the music fidelity you already mentioned.

I have not used it with external dac, only with dac within sources I had at that time. But certainly DAC would help with better organization of instruments on soundstage and mor clarity. The thing is, it is a good amp, especially now with discounts and stuff. But some amps in this price range have a better separation among instruments on soundstage. It is not that it does a bad job of separation and providing black background it is just if that is your primary goal maybe something else would likely fit your needs. Now Roksan does bring weighty and muscular sound, with impressive bass. So if that is the sound you like, thank why not try it. You might enjoy that sound will get that body and definition and most certainly it will have this fun sound to listen.

@@HIFIDaydreaming Hey. Sorry to bother you again, but I saw that you also had experience with Rotel A11 mk2. Since I have A11 Tribute, I was hoping for some info, to have some perspective on the sound difference, regarding the separation and clarity, tonality... Cheers 🙂

@@aleph0909 if upgrade is what you are looking for, don't do it. It is not worth it. Go with rotel a14 mk 2. I don't know head to head differences, but it sounds very similar. There is betterment in how it extracts details, but not that much. It is a great amp, but not worthy the jump if you have tribute.

To mr caspian is more mature, more audiophile device that extracts more information and just organise the sound on soundstage better. But as value k3 is a better value as you get lot if that for much less money, and if bass is something you like I think differences are not so drastic. . But it is undeniable that caspian is better in every regard providing more details in wider soundstage.

Yeah, i think i mentioned something similar to that in my review. How strong, and fantastic low end it have, that much treble and mids needs more finese. But nonetheless great amp. And thanks for watching my video!

Ciao io ho abbinato il rocksan k3 ad una coppia di elipson facet prestige f34..casse poco conosciuto e diffuso rispetto ad altri brand..le 34f sono il top di gamma delle serie prestige casse da 50kg l'una configurazione MTM..d'appolito..con 2 mid con in mezzo il tweeter più du sub woofer da 25.5 cm..col rocksan credimi tirano giù i muri io poi ascolto prevalentemente hard rock..ottimo video

I have not spend any large period of time, with m5si, but it should be a better amp. But i can not guarantee that. So i can not make a deep comparison and reasoning. But if it is similar like m3si it should best it, with precision, details and soundstage.
