How did I miss this? It’s been a month. I had to come here and look for new videos. My stupid phone doesn’t notify me! Do you have a gelli plate? I have tried to do this on a gelli plate and it just beads up. I’d love to see how you do. Wow girl!!! This is awesome!! How would you suggest doing this on a handbuilt piece? Just apply the paper over the piece when you’re don’t making it and leave it on overnight? These are sooo beautiful. I have a bunch of store bought mayco screenprints. How did you adhere the screen print to your table to be able to lift it up and continue making the prints on the paper?

Glad you found it! I just use a piece of masking tape and tape the screen to the table. Hand building should go much the same way. You may not be able to do it dry like I did at the end of this video because it wouldn’t have any extra moisture in the clay but I have found that leaving it overnight is best no matter what. I do have a gelli plate and I will be doing that eventually. But right now I’m trying to figure out colored clay. It has been challenging to say the least. However, I will say that when using the gelli plate, you should try dusting it with cornstarch until it’s no longer sticky. It should work if you do that 🤷🏻‍♀️. Glad to have you back!!!!😊

@@CallUsTemily Aaaw I’m sorry I haven’t been around much. For some reason I haven’t been getting notifications on my feed. I watch as many clay videos as I can find but I really have to hunt for them. It drives me crazy. I did try and use cornstarch. I think the main issue was the glaze was too wet.

Well it will be a while before I get to work on it. But that would make sense. Fighting the algorithms is a never ending battle. Sometimes I think it doesn’t show me what I want for the purpose of making me go find it! 😒🤪
