This game... why can't there be proper NPCs and missions... or a big server with persistent playerbuildings, it would be my favourite game of all times.

I love sandbox games but i could absolutely see how SE could get dull late game. Enjoying it for now! lol

Thankfully the modders have been adding those kinds of features, but I get wanting it to be in the core game

You should solve your texture problem. That's easy. Set the shader quality to medium and no higher... then your texture problem will be gone.

I also build a lot of underground bases. But I always do it with stationary drills. So pistons and drills. If you set them correctly they won't break. I've already had 40 drills on a piston like this. And nothing has broken off. Inertial Tensor sharing and the right speed are the secret. Stationary drills are much better. Much better than using a drillship. And do you have grid damage etc on? Looks like you're done with that. I always play with everything. Engine damage, grid damage, etc. Otherwise it's extremely boring if nothing can break.

Yep! Grid damage is on lol, nd i think for future projects ill definitely consider trying out stationary drills, thanks for all the advice!
