Could tell there was no way you were gonna make it on time with the rebar but excellent work, nothing a few friends and beers can't fix! Thanks for the videos, glad I got introduced to the channel.
That's a serious achievement Dave, great work. I think that pour was every bit as complex as the one you did with Colin, nothing worse than being against the clock.
Very cool I call you space man Dave because you utilise all this unused space...love the railway effect as you go through the tunnels. You should put in an underground rollercoaster ❤
Mate... you're a nutter, so much optimism about getting all that rebar in and how long it would take lmao. Good effort though! I love hard work.... Could watch it all day! :D
Thanks Dave, I am sorry I missed the video when it came out, But I am really pleased to see the concrete poured. As the son of a concreter, it lovely to see the job come together. And I might be getting over/around my claustrophobia. Cheers
Looking good, can't wait for the next instalment! I was in Poperinge, Ypres, and Bastogne last week (also the Nürburgring for the OldtimersGP) the history around those places is amazing.
i think when all is said and done , the entrance to the well should be concealed somehow , so no one can randomly wander into the yard and enter the bunker. Incredible build progress
Great video this. Your editing skills have come on leaps and bounds! Well done for getting the footage whilst grafting! It's easy to jib the camera off when you're knackered 😂
I have checked every day for 3 weeks because I am always exited to see if you have made a new amazing video thank you for entertaining me and inspiring us all. Thank you.
Hi! The video turned out really cool! It’s clear that you put your heart into your content. If you ever need help with editing or creating videos, I’d be happy to support you! Keep up the great work!
The base in this episode is for the retaining wall only. So in the temporary case the ground is held up by the retaining wall. A separate base will be constructed on top to form the floor. Look at the section on the drawing Dave is holding at 8m 18secs.
This is the foundation for the walls the waterproofing is above this and below the main floor, if you pause it on the plans you should be able to see it
@@Tornado_Davewill there also be a sump pump included in it as otherwise you could see issues especially when the structure ages and it’s alot easier to fit one now
I was going to if I got stuck, just wanted to get the 3cx to do all the digging if possible as I started the channel doing videos in that so thought it would be good for the viewers
My thought is a French drain so that any water can be drawn out by a submersible pump so you have no water problems that’s my thought be having rebar or membrane or shot create its all about reinforcement of the floor and wall wishing you the best mate 👍🍺
I've done many concrete jobs. They are always painful. Glad you've got the worst of it behind you. Do you have an ad up on marketplace for free fill? Maybe someone has a hole they need filling.
Hey Dave, Found you on FB, I’m retired miner, You’ll want off grid Fresh air bro, I’d put off grid everything from Air to Sump for floods, Just Neve know, Enjoy 🥳, Belus Southern Asia
So... random hole in the middle why? Also, I'm surprised there was no inspection of the rebar before pouring. We can't do that here. Gotta put rebar, wait for inspector to tell us we did it right, then schedule for concrete. It's like a 3-4 day wait to do what you did in 1.
Yes you are correct, I sent the pictures across and it was passed off that way, didn’t want to leave it a few days as if the walls caved in with rain I would of had to remove the mesh to dig it back out
