UNDERGROUND FOOD STREET in Kyoto, Japan

The "Nice style" salad is actually from the French city of Nice (pronounced Neece) and in french it's called "salade niçoise". The little brown things were most likely anchovies!

That "Nice styled salad" is niçois salad. Meaning in the style of Nice, France. Pronounced Nees, not nice. :D Thanks for the giggle! Always love your vids!

Thanks for this video. Tokyo obviously has a lot of huge train stations. But, in my opinion, Kyoto Station is also an incredible place. The food options are endless (don't forget the top 2 floors of the department store), and the outside open air area next to the buses is beautiful.

I think that the Nice style salad stands for "salade niçoise" which is a dish that comes from Nice, France :) with salad, eggs and anchovy (the brown fish)
