I remember seeing Neil Adams at a con about 6 yrs ago. I didn't have money for a autograph and I was surprised there was no line. I shook his hand and thank him for all he contributed to comics. May he rest in peace
I found a copy of Spawn 9 in a bin of comics at my elementary school. I used to teach 3rd grade and had superhero stuff all over my room. Marvel and DC. I used to talk comics with the former principal and he brought in an old bin of comics he didn’t want anymore. Spawn 9 and a few other decent pulls were in the stash.
I have a Spawn 9 at a 9.8 CGC from my personal collection. It was 1 of 10 books from my 1st group submission, and it was never pressed. I kept it stored like a fine wine !

He was an amazing person, and looking at the Tribute Variant of "Assassin and Son" almost brings a tear to my eye every time I see it. So true about Legends 1. Massively underrated. I too have been picking up a few for almost nothing over the years. She's a character that's been around for ages and has so much potential for the long term
I rather felt that Scarab was too reminiscent of Falcon. Could have been more, although she was ok. I enjoyed the Godzilla fight more. On another note, George Perez will be missed…
The first weekend after Neal's passing I picked up 3 Adams issues from Brave & Bold that I needed. I decided not to wait any longer and am agressiveñy pursuing the remaining issues that I need.

Sitting here half watching, half listening while I sort my FCBD haul all while using Key Collector. Nice list this week. Actually had more than a couple of the books on the list this week in my collection. On a nice note for me I am 25 books away from hitting 11K in my collection.
I just grabbed a LEGENDS 1 for 5 bucks last week. Waller is going to be around long term. Good buy in. I also found that Thor 326 in a $3 bin as well ! I just bought it because I liked the cover .

Ppl who want to spec on Clea should take a look at Marvel Team Up # 80. If she goes on to become the Sorceress Supreme - this could end up being an important book. I pulled a NM copy out of a $3 bin a few days ago and am going to stash it just in case.
I purchased Spawn 9 two years ago for ten dollars (not newsstand) and Stars #2 in VG to NM condition. I feel kinda lucky because comics nowadays seemed to be increasing in price quickly! Lol
Ronin #1 is notorious was getting easily dinged and scuffed. The spine is very fragile with the wrap around black cover. High grades are rare for this book.
It is hard for me to get hyped about comics and spec right now. Lost Neal Adams and George Perez in like a week. Thanks for reporting, fellas. RIP to two comic legends.
Ugh I’m sad I thought Age of Ultron 10 was her 1st appearance in Marvel I sent it to be graded bit worried what it will come back as I never took it out of the Polly bag.. does death of Superman grade high if it stays in bag? that’s much older and I see many copies never un-bagged ….I’ll need to keep an eye out for guardians I hope she’s in Love & Thunder especially with Multiverse she could easily Cameo at the end of that….but I got a nice 9.6 of her spawn appearance 👍 Fantastic video RIP George & Neal 🙏
I’m not much for owning books but had to buy new teen titans 2 and Batman 251 two of my fav. Characters dethstoke and joker done two legendary team ups RIP George Perez Neal Adams.
