When it comes to Iron Man villains, I've always felt that Chemistro and The Controller should get a lot more usage. While I haven't really been able to find stories that feature him heavily, Chemistro in particular fits perfectly in terms of gimmick. As he's all about altering the properties of materials and objects. With the multitude of chemical reactions one can get with different types of metals, he should make for a very challenging foe. Controller's gimmick meanwhile is straight up terrifying. Mind control always is. But his obsessive need for control in a lot of ways makes him a dark reflection of Iron Man himself. Tony can at times lose perspective, going too far in his attempts to keep the peace or just make the world a better place. Sometimes at the cost of personal freedoms. He too likes to keep things from getting out of hand. It is an interesting case of a hero and a villain's goal being somewhat similar, and its their motivations that are what separate them in terms of morality. Normally its the other way around. And this is just me pondering on two characters in terms of potential. If anyone knows of good stories where this sort of stuff is realised, please let me know.
@mediabaron2416 Controller was gonna be in this before I settled on the Masters, but I'll probably give him his own video because his initial story of taking that town over is great His orogin story got too convoluted for this one because I'd have had to mention his brother being Tony's girlfriends lawyer and all that detailed stuff, but as I slowly work thru Iron Man's enemies ill be sure to show off Controller On the side, I recently read him fighting Captain America in acts of vengeance and he was pretty good there too
The original Guardsman, Kevin O' Brien. And his brother Michael who became the second Guardsman out of revenge against Stark but then became an ally. Unlike the modern mass produced Guardsmen from The Vault the original Guardsman suit was pretty tough.
The Face Thief from Iron Man Annual #14 is a seriously underrated villain. This ancient demon, Kao-Goto Suru, had the terrifying ability to steal identities, but what’s wild is that this was his only appearance ever! The issue also introduced the Masters of Silence, pretty sure too Anyway, great video as always
Blizzard is used in outside media pretty often he was in Iron Man the Animated Series Armored Adventures 2017 Spider Man Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes. He also got a Marvel Legend in 2015 he is outdated by today's stands but was good for his time hopefully they do an update they also made a Dreadknight figure he was a SDCC exclusive but The Masters of Silence have never been made.
@kevscollectibels Blizzard and Whirlwind were cool as hell in Iron Man TAS, I see them as kind of a double act because of it Crap, now i want a Dreadknight action figure
@srstriker6420 I'd like a rivalry with Silver Samurai, is he particularly honourable or would he clash well against the Masters? Whirlwind is tied to Blizzard in my mind because of Iron Man TAS but most sources said he was more of an Ant Man villain
@@SkullRy_Comicsexactly especially how the Mandarin was wasted in the MCU and of that I didn’t know that Dreadknight was forced to wear his iconic mask like the Man in the iron mask because I remember that he was in the Ultimate Armour Wars
@srstriker6420 now I've seen what baddies Iron Man has, I'm disappointed we'll never get them in the MCU I've got spotlight videos coming soon about most other iron villains, Unicorn and Ghost are already done 👍
@srstriker6420 someone mentioned Melter and Firebrand to me the other day and sure I'll check them too, Melter I've only read in the original Masters of Evil Sick idea, some IM villains will deffo join Mysterio and Shocker's crew
