Do you think Stan ran out of real animals to use for his characters? It’s actually wild to think unicorn is one of iron man’s most toughest foes of the silver age. We need a unicorn solo movie!
Unicorn has such a wild history. After the Red Ghost shenanigans, he begs the Mandarin for a cure to his condition. The Mandarin manages to save Unicorn’s body, but not his mind, becoming a puppet of the Mandarin (his secret 11th ring!). During a fight with Iron man, Mandarin and Unicorn swap minds! Mandarin manages to swap them back, reviving Unicorn’s mind in the process, but he’s more deranged than ever. Believing himself commanded by an ethereal being (which is actually Titanium man) Unicorn battles Iron man, before finally being defeated, and brought to Avengers mansion to be cured by the likes of Yellowjacket and the Beast. However, Unicorn escapes containment, rampaging through the sub-levels of the mansion. He’s put in stasis again, but AGAIN escapes before Iron man tells him about Titanium man in an attempt to call him down. This works to an extent, but still desiring to find his master, Unicorn walks into the sea towards Russia, where he presumably drowns…(he got better). After this Unicorn kind of becomes a loser. A couple of nobodies take up the mantle with actual laser eyes coming out of their foreheads, one has an all consuming entity living in his head (may or may not be Milos). But now Milos is back after being revived either by the Beyonder, or Micheal Korvac. I kind of like Unicorn serving some mystical force that he gives credit for always escaping Iron man. Plus it would give Iron man another seemingly magical foe to combat aside from the Mandarin, but lower stake.
@rubiconprime1429 having others take the Unicorn mantle is a mistake I think one reason people say Iron Man has no good villains is because they always swap secret identities, there's no personal grudge between them and Stark Look at all the history you speak of for Milos, and then they dump him for some nobodies
@@SkullRy_Comics yeah, it’s a shame. At least Milos has returned to reclaim his mantle, which is better then can be said for Firebrand and Crimson Dynamo (IDK what Mark Grunwald was thinking with Firebrand, and Marvel should bring back the third Crimson Dynamo, as they have left his potential to rot for the past 60 years)
You wonder why he wasn’t used in the 90’s Ironman cartoon especially since he is kinda of a henchman than a mastermind, you noticed that most of theses villains are Russians but you think that he should be part of the Winter Guard the Russian Avengers and you think that his ultimate counterpart should have been part of the Liberators especially of Ultimate have you seen the latest Ultimate Spider-Man? Red Ghost is also a underrated villain do a video on him.
@srstriker6420 he would've fit in well with Mandarin and MODOK's crew Winter Guard from what I've read try to look good for Russia so maybe Unicorn's a but unhinged for them, unless there was a SECRET winter guard like there's a secret Avengers! Ultimate deffo wasted him no question and I'm not well versed in Fantastic 4 but Red Ghost could pop up on a Villain Swap, he did fight Spidey once
@@SkullRy_Comicsor especially think about him use in the MCU. But especially for the Sinister Six that Moleman is part of the team which is unusual since he controls an army of underground movies.
@srstriker6420 MCU could've used cool guys like Unicorn, Ghost (the real one) or Blizzard, but aside from IM1 they went with the worst ideas going Moleman is such a weird choice for the 6 but I'm hoping it makes sense in the end
The og costume? Yeah, Don Heck was a terrible artist on costumes. Unless they were all intended to look like suits of DIY armor, fashioned from old boilers, lawnmowers and the like. And the idea of his armor releasing radiation that dove him insane was duped with the character the Guardian.
@markshulusky6680 his mouth looks weird but otherwise I like the retrofuturistic look he's got in his first appearance Looks more mechanical and intricate than just the helmet and shirt he has afterwards
@jenniferwest6786 I like him, he's just a lunatic who loves his gun Classic Iron Man wasn't the overpowered techno-god he is today, he was always running out of power or relying on his roller skates to get around
