I can’t get enough of how much research and ingredient deep dive you include in your videos! I feel like each time I’m so much more informed about my skincare products!! Thank you
Kelly this is so helpful! As a college student who loves skincare, my budget is limited, so knowing what’s really worth it is invaluable. Thank you so much, your delivery and knowledge is greatly appreciated as always ❤
Since you first recommended the illiyoon ceramides cream years ago, it is my holy grail! Such a skin saver for dry sensitive skin. Next I want to try the isntree green tea serum 😍
Love this series..but I have to make a note. Green tea is a plant extract composed of many chemical compounds. Plant extracts have a chance of allergy or reaction for reactive skin types. No one seems to mention this aspect when discussing tea as an ingredient. Personally my skin reacts horribly to anything with tea in it. I thought I was crazy because it's never spoken about in this way. So if you seem to be reacting to certain products and can't narrow it down....see if tea is the common ingredient. ❤
Hi Kelly. I use Innisfree green tea serum and i'm love with that serum. So moisturizing, soft and calming. I repurchase this serum and I'm in love. Kisses from Brazil!
The illyoon LOTION is so underrated IMO I’ve been through bottles and bottles of that one it’s the silkiest nicest cream ever. They recently started selling 2.7Oz versions of it and I’m loving that. It’s great for body and face
Antioxidants are so important especially for people living in cities! But unfortunately there are very few budget friendly antioxidant serums in the market! Not everyone can use Vitamin C as it doesn't suit everyone's skin!
One suggestion: whenever you talk about a product, can you hold in your hand or have its name somewhere on the screen. I often find myself lost track which product you are talking about. Love your videos tho.
As others have pointed out, you'll find the products listed in the description box, as well as there are images with name and full ingredients list during the video. You can pause the video and take a screenshot, if that helps.
@@anastasiazazulina6111 I know there’s list of products in description. But I want to hear what she has to say about each. And often I got back track caz I lost track which one she’s talking. I often watch RU-vid while doing chores and stuff. It’s a RU-vid video, I can’t pay 100% attention like I’m attending a college course
The Toriden Ceramiden line reminds me so much of the Dr J ceramide line and Toriden just came out with a new Ceramide panethnol essence that looks amazing from the Ceramiden line it looks super creamy and emoulshion serum like not like a traditional essense but they are calling it an essence but I would use it in a serum step I think, but it's on my list to get it looks so nice and I heard it felt great on.
Are you talking about the torriden solid in essence? That’s a ceramide one that’s more like a serum than essence. I’ve used that one for a couple years but last winter got it in an updated newer packaging Same formula thought. Is there a newer one??
@@angelinebiswas7611 I hadn't seen it before maybe it's just new packaging , yes the yellow bottle from the Ceramiden line. I'm not sure if it's new or not now but I thought it was . Yeah I know it's not an actual essence lol don't you love when they name it essence or a toner when it's far from it more like a serum or even lotion.
I've tried the Isntree Green Tea Fresh cleanser and it is AMAZING!! Beautiful consistency and you can even see pieces of tea leaves in it. It's so good, effective, refreshing and gentle that I keep going back to it (I'm sensitive/combo)
Love this post. I really like the Isntree Green Tea Serum with the EGCG in it. I find that combination especially soothing for my rosacea and I use it before using my Red Light therapy. Hope you will do a rundown on all the different propolis/honey extract skin serums and masks--those seem to be soooo nourishing and soothing to my skin! Catherine
The innisfree green tea seed serum is really good in its current iteration. It's far better than the isntree one. These two products honestly have almost nothing in common texture or performance wise in my opinion. I also trust the sourcing from innisfree as Amorepacific grows and harvests its own green tea.
@@Adam-ij1fg thanks alot. Have you heard of the Medi peel brand? There is lots of PR here in Russia, but only here. I've never heard of it in America or Europe
I was really never a fan on inissfree’s products I think the only things that worked for me were the soybean essence (don’t know if they still sell it) and their spfs
Inisfree tore my skin up everything I have tried I have had an allergic reaction too . I haven't tried that newer retinol cica serum they came out with that was really popular.
My skin had a really bad reaction to Dr Jart's red color corrector Cicapair. I'll never use their products again. I absolutely love most Cica/Centella products but that stuff was bad news for my skin. I do enjoy Illiyoon's products. I have the Ato cream and their ato gel.
I know how you feel. I had a really bad reaction once to the dear klairs blue calming cream. When I woke up in the morning, there was a big red dry patch under my eyes. I immediately threw the product away and am scared to buy anything from that brand now.
Three years ago, I was so smitten with Dr. Jart+ and couldn’t try enough of their products. None of them truly delivered, though, including the bb cream.
Hi Kelly a very underrated brand is Jin jun sung. I heard about their essence from one creator and after looking at the INCI list decided to try it for my extremely reactive, rosacea and eczema prone skin. I wanted something super hydrating for the warmer months and this really delivered. The slightly gloopy texture is due to the high percentage of glycerine and despite having HA (which my skin is sometimes unhappy with) it is really deeply hydrating. This having been so successful for me I ordered the omega serum (also 150mls) and I also really like this too - they pair very well together btw. I can load it on as it's a ton of product without worrying about flying through it really quickly (always a good thing for very dry/dehydrated skin) and it's a bit richer than the essence although still quite lightweight. These two (paired after a couple of layers of more watery toner) has really hit the spot for that THIRSTY feeling in the skin quieting down. My skin is feeling soft/hydrated and I'm really happy with them. they're also not that expensive when compared to other essences or serums and a good size/value. I should probably have bought the cream too, but I have enough moisturiser right now and I don't think the cream will be rich enough for my skin once the colder weather hits. It's on my list for next Spring however. Best wishes. ps I bought back ups of both products already, so that shows how happy I am with them as I just don't want to be without them. x
Tried a bunch of Dr Jart+ products only liked the sensitive skin cleanser But even that one wasn’t worth the price tag Overall very overrated (and overpriced) in my view The ceramidin cream is not hydrating at all to me
the names are so confusing and until recently I thought its one instead of two seperate brands. Innisfree and isntree. Interesting because I dont like the innisfree products but love the isntree ones :D Their green tea line is awesome (isntree). I especially love the toner.
I really like the Dr. Jart Ceramidin Cream because it goes on pretty matte/natural skin finish and stays that way. As someone who leans oily combo, with skin that has been uncharacteristically cracked dry this winter, this cream saved me! The illiyoon cream and aesturia 365 ato cream are on my wishlist tho for my next YesStyle purchase!
Wow. I got the dr Jart ceramidin cream and I regret it.. What on earth were they thinking when they added citronellol in it?? I guess it is good in summertime in Greece as a mosquito repellant😂
Cosrx Snail Essence is Overrated for me. It doesnt work if you have fungal Acne and pimple prone. But good for older people with Normal and Dry skin. Beauty of Joseon Ginseng and Black Snail is Underrated.
Hi Kelly. Could you please recommend American/European or J-beauty products and brands also? Since Korean products really imitate my skin, probably because of all the botanic ingredients.

omg same?.? k beauty irritated my skin some time ago bcos of their /natural/ ingredients 😐 too many botanical extract & essential oil. now I'm using french pharmacy products ie avene, lrp. and also eucerin. those bland products working for me 😂 except for toner, I chose/use isntree bcos that's the only relevant one
@@ryeofoatmeal exactly what happened to me. French skincare works best on my skin. Although I much prefer Japanese sunscreen and lotions like Hada Labo and Skin Aqua.
I absolutely HATE essential oils in my skincare but I almost barley can smell it with the dr Jart ceramidin. I still won’t use it when my skin is irritated but I don’t mind it for a more occlusive cream at night and in the winter. When I got it I paid $11 for it on Amazon via the offical brand. Def a dupe if you’re looking for that same texture which is what I look for when I think of a dupe. Also dr Jart is so expensive I think because Estée Lauder bought them 😢
I tried dr jart's ceramidin toner for the sake of trying their product with all the hype. Plus I love a good toner. It really did not work for me at all. I felt like it just sat on top and wouldn't absorb properly and it did not alleviate my skin of anything (all of the ceramide products I tried either were really nourishing or really soothing) so meh not worth the money for me.
I think you’ve done a video on the isntree green tea serum versus the benton green tea serum but can’t remember. Any notable differences or preferences between those two off the top of your head?
Was wondering if you have any recommendations for creams/lotions that are catered towards dry skin but that also helps with hyperpigmentation? I’ve already got arbutin and niacinamide serums that targets that. I’m currently using beauty of joseon retinal eye cream and this manyo bafida cream think what it’s called since it has liquorice root but it’s more catered to oily skin and it runs out fast. 😭 it’s hard finding creams that aren’t super expensive and has what I’m looking for.
Hi Kelly, have you tried the Real Barrier Intense Moisture cream?? It's actually really hydrating but I also think it causes me white breakouts? I'm not sure but maybe the essential oils in it? There aren't any reviews on it so I just wanted to ask...
I'm not Kelly, obviously 😅, but off the top of my head I'd recommend the Niod 0 Survival. Kelly often mentions this product in her videos. It's a great antioxidant that will target well ageing and also brightening of the complexion. I've used it myself (I'm sensitive/combo) with very good results! Hope this helps 🙋🏻♀️
@@cuteangela8921 Oh no! Sorry to hear that! I hope Kelly replies to you. The best way to get an answer is to comment as soon as the video comes out, if you can 😊.
