ok my hypothesis: i think she died from uncanny long arms. she’s the heir to secretariat, which gentrified the whole town. she literally has reach in everyone’s homes, which is what caused ULA for mara and s*nny. that also explains why the old man warned her about looking eerie and why she “grew a new appendage.” if i had to guess, the reason it’s a prologue is because after ashley’s death, they developed the arm shortening procedure that made mara come back to life in the inlaws part of ULA.

i find myself enamoured with the tracks that allow me to sublimate my emotional state and process it in a way while listening. this is one of those tracks and the sounds are gorgeous, something inside me is responding
