If she said no I don’t want you to go in my back yard or no I don’t want you to come through my house then they can’t without a search warrant or exigent circumstances. You don’t know what info they had or how reliable the info they had was to create exigent circumstances. If the caller was anonymous, or not very detailed etc they don’t have legal grounds to go there without the home owners permission. That is the point I’m trying to make, you DONT KNOW what info they had and you don’t know the law but you are quick to condemn them. Do you think it is laziness that made them not walk through the house. They didn’t leave. It would have been faster for them to go themselves and check, so it wasn’t that they didn’t want to check. They waited there IN ORDER TO GO CHECK after she let them through so there must have been something legally or verbally that happened to keep them from going through themselves. If the go barging in without permission you condemn them, if they respect the home owners wishes you condemn them. But no matter what, I can guarantee her death will haunt them for the rest of their lives because they are people who care, but all you want to reduce them to is “stupid, lazy, cops”.

I agree. To me, it sounds like he was forcing her into sex acts she wasn't interested in and found depraved. And insulting her for displaying genuine emotions of sadness and distress, while insisting she put a smile on her face and behave like she's happy when she was miserable. It's like she lived almost as his prisoner; he controlled so many aspects of her life, it's disgusting to even really consider how far he probably took it. I hope she rests peacefully. 💗

I do see the law applying when a couple combines funds for an investment, or to generate capital to start a business. In CA can anyone deposit cash into another person’s account as long as they have a deposit slip? Here in MI you definitely can. I ask this while imagining nefarious spouses in CA making sure to deposit a minimum of $1.00 in their spouse’s accounts in order to lay claim to it later.

Little dogs do that. My two have always barked at everyone and everything. So I was shocked while walking them recently on a path and a 3 meter python (we’re in Australia) crossed us. We stopped and the dogs were completely silent and still. They know when there’s true danger and then they don’t bark.

@riggamorrischan have you ever heard a police radio? There were 6 of them over there, and nobody knows if she made any noise when she died. There was still nothing they could do. They had no probable cause, and the homeowner didn't grant them entry to the house.
