One thing what I love about Liz is that she understands the power of words. She understands how the emotions of the statements she is putting out should be delivered in a correct manner. Like, if she's telling you these things in a timid manner, you wouldn't care to do the things she's telling you to do.

Liz, the universe brought this to me at the perfect time. I am 17 and am graduating high school this year, and my first love has always been wiriting. I've been feeling real shit, because I want to write a book - i have the whole entire plot planned out - but I've been so apprehensive and procrastinating like a mf because I am so scared of failure. But you have motivated me to trust in myself, and to trust that only brilliant things will be reaped from what I sow. I'm going to embrace the delusional side of me that believes I can make a lot of money off this book, and even live comfortably while doing the thing that I love most; creating experiences and worlds that one can escape into whenever they wish. Be that friend to yourself. Every day, speak/write to yourself what you would say to someone else to lift them up, then say it to yourself. Tell yourself all the things you love about yourself at least once a day. Give yourself hugs and hold your inner child and tell her how precious she is to you. Go on "I am the best" rants; dancing while you do this is a bonus. Decide that, from now, you know that you are highly valued and worthy of good things, and that no matter what, you have your own back. You do not need to believe this, just decide it is the truth, and it is. You have always been worthy, you just forgot. I am just reminding you.

I've been going through a very difficult time lately. I've been feeling alone and I feel like everyone is enjoying their lives except me. I blamed many factors outside of myself and procrastinated even extremely basic things. When you talk about celebrating ourselves, it made me realize I can't even remember when was the last time I said those words to myself. In late December of last year I passed a final, the Biology Statistics final. I studied for like less than a week and then passed it. Not the greatest mark but I passed it and honestly I didn't feel that good about it even though it was something I really wanted. Why? Because I was feeling sad that some days before I found out that my ex had been betraying me (we had already broken up at that point but he was still trying to be with me, so finding out that he wasn't even being loyal to me was shocking and hard to understand) and that was also why I couldn't focus on studying harder to get a higher mark on that final. So I was harsh on myself bc of that instead of celebrating that hey, I passed it. I thought about giving up so many times before the exam date but I told myself to keep going, and I made it. So I think now, I should be proud of what I accomplished. Thank you so much, Liz
