I think you can follow as mentioned in the video, discuss with academic advisors too. In my suggestion you can Start with Statistics, data management for info, and data visualization.

Hi,just wanted to tell you that for the sps courses,students are placed in cohorts (groups) A and B. I am not sure if students can take subjects of their liking in their first semester. We received a mail regarding the registration.

Hey Jacob, Thanks for your response. In this case, I am talking specifically about SPS graduate Courses. I am not sure if you are talking about the same too. However, If you are then students are allowed to discuss their plans with respective academic advisors and based on that you can take the courses suggested by them for the first semester or if you have any other plans for yourself and if you are eligible (having previous work experiences) then you can discuss it with your further, and they might allow you.

Hiii. I wanted to ask if we could skip stats/ liner regression and choose another elective? Is that possible or stats is a compulsory subject

Yes, it is possible given you have a relevant experience and are able to prove it to your academic advisors.
