Hope you do well. I am also trying to learn and understand as much as possible. ... I have a whole new notebook, where I write all importent I read or hear about it, so that I can find a re-read or read something I heard, over and over againg.. to help me remember. I can recommend you making your own anxiety-book with all the good and interesting you read and hear about the topic.

I have chronic social anxiety, it was really bad when I was in highschool where I wasn’t medicated nor having therapy. Now it’s better but in stressful situations would bring it on, I can get over it before it gets worse however I like to call crossing the threshold where I cannot be calm where I have to stop what I am doing and leave.

I was diagnosed with social anxiety and my former job included making multiple phone calls a day to customers. I was forcing myself to still go to work because I have to pay rent. In the beginning of last year I lost all strength and was considering ending my life. Be aware that this attitude can create even more problems/health problems like depression which I eventually developed by constantly forcing myself in situations where I feel uneasy.
@stefanpassamante9385
@stefanpassamante9385 10 месяцев назад
I agree with these 100% I force myself cause it's gotta be done.but at the same time your literally battling yourself mentally everyday.its freaking exhausting
@thegirl_Serendipity
@thegirl_Serendipity 6 месяцев назад
Forcing yourself is not the solution! I "fixed" my social anxiety but still have major anxiety before certain events. I still push myself to do them - like exams in uni, doctor appointments, presentations to large groups of people at work etc. - it's not only physically & mentally draining, but i also get extremely sick - i get fever, chills and even have a history of vomiting if under a lot of stress.... aso if you're constantly pushing yourself when you're not comfortable, it leads to major depression unfortunately....

My head is a mess. I feel like my own enemy. I prob need some sort of psychological help but I also feel like I am a man and should be strong enough mentaly to overcome it myself. Based on this I prob had selective mutism when I was in school. I dont remember how I was as a kid in school but I do know my classmates cheered when I backtalked the teacher in 7th grade. I can tell for sure I was not talking much in high school but I could talk with my family normally. Now I am basically avoiding most of big gatherings and were since I was a kid a listener so idk if not talking much in a group is a disorder or just how I am. I do feel like a failure but I also dont really attempt to change it and even when I do try I give up quickly. Idk why or since when have I become this soft ass man that goes with the slow flow rather than getting what I want. Maybe I was never that strong man....

I can relate!
@thegirl_Serendipity
@thegirl_Serendipity 6 месяцев назад
I don't think it has to do with gender at all. Unfortunately most of these issues come from childhood and your subconscious works in mysteries ways. I had major social anxiety from when i was a teenager and always thought it was normal and everyone worried, but essentially i was extremelly stressed every time i had to leave the house... would starve, but would not order food and was unable to go to the supermarket out of extreme paralising fear.... started therapy at 21 years old as I was sick of feeling this way.. then just a year later started my first job in public relations and had no issues to do the things i was scared of before! Turns out for me it was triggerred by many things, like how i got lost a few times as a child (4-5 years old) + constant mocking in school from classmates etc. and the fact i was made to feel unworthy or inadequate. So you never know where it might be coming from and I'm not a professional, but what my therapist told me is usually if its a childhood trauma we tend to think about it from a kids point of view, since this is when the trauma was essentially born..... Hope you feel better soon though, i know how it must feel!

I recommend to each & everyone and have personally experienced & cured from this 7 days therapy of surah 'Al-rahman'. I used to face multiple health issues like stress, anxiety, overthinking ,negative thinking,insomnia & indigestion . But this therapy has today made me a new person all together, full of hope, enthusiasm, zest , positive thinking & to a top of it a better understanding human . HOW TO LISTEN: Close your eyes and imagine yourself in presence of GOD and listen surah "Al-rahman" in the voice of qari abdul basit with great concentration & focus . When the recitation ends , open eyes , take half a glass of water. Again close your eyes and say NAME OF GOD thrice in your heart & drink water in 3 sips. Take water this way every time after listening to the recitation.

Very nice. I tried it. It didn't work for me. Now I just use The Qur'an as toilet paper. It works well.
@Ecstasy112
@Ecstasy112 3 месяца назад
@@KP-wActually it’s very obvious you haven’t tried it considering your level of hostility towards the Qur’an. Secondly if you don’t want to try their suggestion then fine don’t that’s your decision but there is absolutely no need to be so disrespectful towards our religion, this says a lot about your character.
