My God, if only half the teachers could teach like this maybe Med school would be done In 3 years. Honestly thank you so much, my teachers are amazing just that sometimes I guess I find it difficult to understand concepts like this. May Allah reward you teacher.

Thank you so much for explaining how the folding of the brainstem alters the position of the plates. That's a crucial piece of information that seems to be missing from nearly every resource online. It was very frustrating looking for an explanation, and your video finally provided the solution. Thanks again.

Thank you so much for posting this video! Your explanation is concise and very well organized; I am finally able to understand it all and see how they fit together. Wish I had found this video sooner; it would have saved me many hours of trying to understand brainstem nuclei without any progress 😅. Have to share this with my peers since this truly is the only way to learn and remember this topic.

At 7:14 is the Visceral Motor nuclei column supposed to be in the place of the Brachial motor nuclei column? Isn't the brachiomotor column the most lateral motor column?

i search what is inside nuclei? is there a 3D model animation of a cranial nerve nuclei? I could not find anywhere.
@TheNotedAnatomist
@TheNotedAnatomist 3 года назад
I don't know if there is a 3D model or not. However, basically when the term nucleus is used in neuroanatomy it is describing a collection of neuronal cell bodies. When chemists use the term "nucleus" they are describing the center of an atom that contains protons and neutrons. The nuclei described in this video are for neuronal cell bodies. Does that help?
