Hi! What happens if the Internal and / or External interfaces that supposed to send CCP messages are connected to end equipment which is not passing this status messages to the second FW? Why those messages are not send via the sync connection?
HA is done through the dedicated Sync interface, if there's no dedicated Sync interface then any available interface can be used as your Sync. You can either directly connect the two sync interfaces(using a cross over cable) or go through a L2 switch(normal cat 5e/6 cable)...Please note, it has to be a L2 switch, the sync interface won't work with an L3 switch.
