Hi thanks again for the videos been watching a lot of your videos so far but there is something i didn't quite understand here. Does the sic connection being build before the ssl vpn connection or after? And one more question the data which being transferred from the Gateway firewall to the managment server is through an ssl connection only? or is it something made by default or can't be changed ? and again thanks you so much !
Thanks for watching and for the question, sic is the mechanism to build the trust to exchange certificates to build the ssl connection, so once sic has been been established, the FW and MGMT will always use ssl encryption to communicate with each other.
Sorry guys, I created these videos to re-enforce the training that I do, but since then I have been busy travelling across Canada, USA, Spain, training Check Point customers and Partners, which is my full time job I do these videos when I have some downtime during my busy schedule, I am booked November/December, but I am planning to reboot this channel in 2017, with more consistent monthly outputs. regards
