I learned it the hard way by experimenting for a long time I had the gimble issue in my 1st animation I just key it in every frame to sort it and did it for the next whole year until I understand it

This was a problem on Apollo 13. The spacecrafts erratic movement during the explosion could have caused the navigation computer to experience gimbal lock.

The reason for the name gimbal lock is due to systems will get stuck and confused when their axis get into a certain position preventing them from displaying correctly or doing what it should do.

clearly, the best solution for gimbal lock is to just perform all rotations using quaternion multiplication

Is there any chance to fix it once the animation is done?? (the Euler filter didn't fix it all) thanks

You would have to go through your poses and shift the curves where it starts to lock, until the Euler filter recognizes where it's supposed to go. It might work after the first pose, but you might need to fix a few. Just keep applying the filter after you adjust each pose until it clicks. Good luck!

I use Quaternion Rotation and it's better than Euler Rotation.

Only in certain circumstances. Quaternions can't rotate past 360° so you're limited in what actions you can animate.

I thought Maya would use Quaternions to prevent Gimbal lock...

Maya does actually support quaternions, they just aren't always a feasible option. Quaternion keys don't support tangent handles, making the graph editor difficult to use, and you can't animate anything that rotates more than 360° (like a spin or a backflip). Both Euler & quaternions have pros and cons, but the lack of graph editor control makes Euler angles a better default.
