When I was reading Junji Ito's No longer human, at some point we all may relate to some of the things but I found it way too alarming when I was reading the chapters about Clowning myself, Considering it being Socially interactive, for most years of my teen life was spent engaging people onto myself either into a likeable or probably an idiotic person
It was absolutely brilliant and probably my favourite adaption of original work. The most suprising and mind blowing thing came to me at the end and if you know you know why you then had to turn to very first pages again
Best iteration of No Longer Human by far I wonder if the boards meeting was like “this is very unsettling book, I wonder who could have most deranged vision to illustrate it best….., wait we got that person right?”
