Yup. I'm going to have to quit Mint because of this. I go on trips that are months long. It was perfect because if I had an emergency I paid a little bit for a random emergency text. No way I'm paying $320 bucks for a trip to use my phone a couple of times. I emailed them and they said just activate it when I need it. What are the chances I'll have wifi when I'm having an emergency so I can activate the plan? And if I have wifi, I don't need the plan! Besides, who goes abroad for only 1, 2 or 3 days? Usually people vacation for a week or more. Not a fan anymore. :(

Yep. I wish there was a way to use something akin to "wifi calling" when using data from a third-party eSIM. I'm hoping Mint changes course back on this. :(

same. I am on trip for month. I just want to know how to retrieve my text while on wifi. Wifi calling is not compatible with my phone. I looked into Mint international but it shows only 24 hours for 10 dollars. That means after 24 hours I can no longer access text messages - that seems ridiculous.

Yeah, if your phone won't do WiFi calling then you can't retrieve that stuff until you have Mint service again (either here in the USA or paying for a Minternational plan abroad). I agree that this is ridiculous. Curious to see how it evolves.
