I had a missed miscarriage 5 years ago, I was lucky enough that my Dr. let me pass the pregnancy naturally and did not force me to undergo a D&C. I was able to see/handle the embryo and that brought me closure as well 🥺
I had a silent miscarriage June 2023. The baby stopped growing at 12 weeks due to a cystic hygroma. I was going to do expectant management but I was concerned about baby decomposing so after several days I got medicine to help things along because I was hoping to see my baby boy. I was so blessed not to have bad cramping or significant bleeding and I had ordered a miscarriage kit to easily catch the baby and temporarily preserve him. I was blessed to do just that. My baby boy came out beautiful and whole. You could even see his little penis. God is so amazing and I know this baby's sweet soul is in the hands of my Savior. Women need to be aware that a D&C will not allow the baby to come out intact, or correct me if I'm wrong. I was so thankful to see my baby and take pictures and have some closure. Sadly, I did still require a D&C several weeks later after a follow-up ultrasound showed I was still retaining "product of conception". It was also a good experience, as far as no complications and I was asleep. My heart goes out to all you mamas who have to go through this.
I recently had a missed miscarriage and it was devastating. My husband and I was about 8 weeks when we found out. We had our ultrasound and found out that our baby stop growing at 6 weeks. We decided on getting the procedure done at the hospital. We’re now dealing with the grief.
😢same experience here only this April 23,2024..😭Its our first baby😭😭 I chose medication,I will have a follow up check up on monday to check if I pass all the tissue😢😭Praying that it will be okay🙏🙏
I had a missed MC in May. Found out at our 12 week after seeing the heartbeat at 8 weeks . I decided to take misoprostal. It’s crazy to essentially deliver the baby, and the placenta, in your bathroom 💔 overall my experience physically was okay. My doctor was fantastic, I took the meds over the weekend and had questions for her throughout the weekend. She was available for every phone call and always called me back.
Lindsay I am so sorry for your loss and for what you had to go through. I'm glad your doctor was there and supportive during such a tough period ❤ I appreciate you for sharing your story with us ❤🤞🍍
@@SandraTu-qe1kw it took 3 hours from when I started the medication for things to start passing ♥️ after that everything pretty much passed within 2-3 hours for me. so sorry for your loss.
Goong through same except i passed it naturally 3 days after finding no heartbeat at 11 week . Heartbeat at 8 weeks . 😢 doctor was also available on call.
It would be nice to indicate how many weeks of waiting time is recommended in the case of expectant management before someone opts for medical or surgical intervention. Thank you for the video
@@43bluebunny I had a missed miscarriage. I was due Oct. 1st. with our baby, but I noticed things weren't progressing and we couldn't find a heartbeat so I went in for an ultrasound and they didn't see a baby, just a sac. I should have been around 14 weeks . I scoured the internet for any info. on how long is too long, all I found was a lot of fear talk, so I prayed and asked for peace and kept a close eye on my body for signs of infection but I felt fine and everything looked good so I continued to wait.. I just finished my miscarriage on Aug. 3rd. it was just liked labor and I didn't have all the blood clots that I had with other miscarriages in the past. I ended up passing the placenta and everything all together, and there was a tiny little baby inside when we looked, maybe 7-8 weeks old, nothing smelled bad, neither was is deteriorating. Everyone is different, but I'm so glad we waited and let my body handle it. I just wanted to share my story because there isn't much info. out there that isn't covered in fear.
This month I had a heavy period I got so emotional Couse it reminded me of what I saw in the toilet when I had my miscarriage I cried also through out my period I was very emotional I don't know why is that normal it's been a year since I had my miscarriage
I'm so sorry for your loss. I truly empathize. I would advise you to consult your medical provider, as I can't give medical advice to personal situations on social media. I have a lot of content on the subject on this channel, website drlorashahine.com, RU-vid and Instagram account @drlorashahine that are great sources for you
I don’t get how this happens, like 6,7 or 8 weeks the sonogram shows a heartbeat but then 10,11,12 weeks etc out of nowhere nothing? No heartbeat now? How and why does that happen? I thought once a heartbeat is present on an ultrasound then thats it your good to go, no issues.
after doing the embryo transfer, I did a blood test on day 11 and the result was 14mg betahcg. my doctor told me it was a weak result, indicating that the embryo implanted but we don't know if it was continuing its development. a few days later I repeated the test and the value had dropped. Is this considered an abortion? How long after can I try again? I still have 2 frozen embryos so 2 attempts. thank you for all your videos, for your sweetness and empathy. it makes us feel less alone and more understood in this difficult and long journey.
This sounds like a biochemical miscarriage or biochemical pregnancy loss - positive pregnancy test but level drops early. I am so sorry for your loss. You can likely try again soon. I’ve had patients try again with the next cycle.❤️🤞🍍
Hi Dr, opinion please. I had a transfer on 12/15. First beta 12/26-11, 12/28-24,1/2-230,1/9 3046. 1/9 u/s showed NOTHING in transvaginal u/s. No one can find it. So we're just monitoring hcg levels. I go tom for a retest. What would you do? I'm scared though feeling no pain. I don't want to wait till there is. I keep getting the wait response so drs don't do something drastic that isn't necessary.
Hi Doctor. I need opinion I am 36 yrs done hystroscopy 20 days ago. And today is 46days of my cycle but my period is not arrived yet. Today estradiol test done and level is 24pg/ml. Doctor told me ur estradiol level is in lower side so we can start IVF procedure means medicine injection for egg retrieval. So she told me their is no problem if period not arrived yet. @@farogatolimjonova9566 Hi, I just finished a miscarriage naturally. Baby passed around 7-8 weeks, I found out in April and they said they couldn't see a baby at the ultrasound. I finally miscarried naturally August 3rd. It was exactly like labor, lots of contractions and not a lot of blood. I ended up passing everything all together. I too spotted for a long time off and on before, I just always kept an eye on how I felt and how everything smelled and never did it smell bad, ( except when I ate asparagus or garlic ) so I continued to wait. I am so glad I did wait, because seeing my tiny little baby brought closure for me and trusting God and my body was amazing. Everyone is different, that's just my experience in a nutshell.
