Do you find that the net battery current in 'system status' is inaccurate on the SCP? I've been trying to troubleshoot why mine jumps around and can't seem to find a cause. I can't know if there's a specific reason in your setup, but what I get is similar to what happens at 0:18 and 0:38s even though an actual meter shows no such "jumps."
Hello Steve G yes you are right that the batt amps is jumping around at a lower refresh rate than the watts , the watts refresh rate is much faster , now my system has a lot going on and with two xw6848 inverters and two mppt 60-150 things are happening all very fast . now since that vid i have added two more s mppt to the system .. so to answer your question there is many things happening and the refresh rate cant keep up , now i also know that if its not a problem dont worry, and i also know that the CT in the system is not all perfect at low numbers , hope this helps
Hey you still around here CBI solar guy? I got this unit on my boat powering a Xantrex 815-2012 Inv/Chgr, Free-SW 2000W. Its hooked up to 4 large 8D batteries in parallel. The unit is rated for 2000 watts. Ive put a 1600 watt load on it & somehow it brought the batteries down to 11.9 while the alternator is charging the batteries? The alternator can normally keep the batteries at 13.9v. However, when I went to check with a voltmeter all 4 batteries were saying they were at 12.34v...Is the unit reading the battery voltage wrong somehow?
OH gosh - I wish you could help us! We have Conext inverters and SCP running a 9KW system with a 14KW Kohler backup generator, on 48V battery bank. We are 100% off grid, and when the SCP detects Low Battery Cutout (which is set at 48V), it gives us faults but doesn't start the generator, which is set on AUTOMATIC. And gen itself is set on AUTO (Standby). But when the system detects low DC voltage and falls below 48V, the whole system shuts down instead of turning generator on via AUTO. Any ideas what may be wrong?
These off-grid systems are complex with many settings that can cause issues, I would recommend that you get the soc meter installed so you are working with actual capacity and not volts. In your generator settings, you have timed low voltage flags to start the generator. those must be set correctly to allow the generator to start before a low voltage disconnect. So it was saying my AC1 load was over 2000 W is that what I was making at the time? I was very concerned that it was using that much and hardly anything was on in the house. We only have a 3.5 KW system but we made 19 KW today (July 29, 2021).
Hello! I am living in The Bahamas with a Conext XW+ system (8 solar panels on the roof) and 8 SOLAR SAGM 06 375 batteries. In addition, we use an Outback FLEXmax 60 Charge Controller I was on my SCP just now and in Advanced Settings and changed the "auto config" something feature and my inverter shut off and began to flash. Right now I am unable to turn it on, do you have any advice or can you help? I am very thankful if you can help! Thank you!
