Hormesis, EotS, Supreme, Dark Carnival, Sacred Vibez, Charm City, King’s Creations, Sandana, and Evil Gerbil, are all putting out some FIRE 🔥 headbands. I collect a ton of bands from a ton of brands. There’s art everywhere you look in this sport, and sticking to one company without experiencing others only hurts yourself.
🔥content as always, love ya bud and I'm glad you like the band and I hope it brings you many great pics. GG's Headbands & Sacred Vybez are the homies, always top quality work from both
You have definitely never worn one , they are not some HK style band with a Hormesis tag , the quality is great and they have a unique way of hand making them basically in the jungle in limited batches. Supreme is just a tag on a 20$ shirt ,Hormesis is giving you something different.
@@thewiseguy7100 the only thing people know about supreme is it's a "hype brand " and they will pay for nothing more than the logo on cheap tshirts and literally anything the logo is on, everyone isn't supposed to know about Hormesis it's a paintball brand not fashion brand and if you want to know something you should probably look it up , all fabrics are hand processed along with all the dyes using old traditional hand worked wooden machines, your getting something different than the everyday HK headband, they employ an entire group of people in the jungle making these ,it's also founded by the goats of paintball, they give away bands all the time and community is solid .
@@thewiseguy7100 Bro come on every supreme product I have seen in person is run of the mill with the name on it going for 1500% more than market for no reason other than hype/flex. I have a Gucci belt and a pair of high-tops. I was young and spent $950 on Gucci shoes. No what? My Air Force Ones are 95% as nice. The Belt? Felts less quality than a nice $100 leather belt and the gucci one cost me $399. I was Dating a girl that cared about that stuff, I got a bonus that year and flexed. I still wear the belt, but the shoes are shot, in the same time frame as any other $130 pair of high-tops. You called out two brands that are specifically and EXACTLY brands that produce products that are cost alot because of hype and flexing. Its the entire high-end model - Low qaunt, exclusive people wear it, normal people want to be seen and viewed in that way so they spend on it. My mom is a business owner and has every brand bag out there. They are all really nice. But a $400 bag is 98% of the $5000-8000 bags she has. Its all about being seen owning and wearing these brands. I'm not even hating - I'm down with it. But do not say Supreme is making really quality stuff. its a fucking normal t-shirt with the word supreme on it. The backpacks are no nicer than a oakley backpack. There is no possible way these headbands cost $70 to make and end users buy then for $100 so the company is making 30%. The headbands like all the other brands are $10-20 to make. Lower hype / less cool brands can mark up $25 a headband. The Dynasty guys get to mark up $75-200 a band.
One cool thing about the hormesis headbands is the process to make them. In order to get the patterns on the fabric they use a eco friendly wax to make the patterns then go in and paint. They then remove the wax and repeat that process depending on the colors that are looking to be added. Someone mentioned cost to make being low, which material cost may be cheap. But attention to detail and quality for 200 pieces per collection is pretty sweet.
Here to say Enemy of the State headbands resell for the most amount of money currently..you’d be lucky to find one new for less than 300 dollars on the after market. Shits insane. Most go for 4-$600
Oliver is currently in New Zealand hosting a 1v1 tour (joust and duel). I managed to get a spot so heading down with my buddies tonight. Gona be awesome 👌
I kinda liked the style at first and found out about its ! One thing i hope to figure out is on headbands tho is.... How do you find those extra long dynasty style ones that aren't so expensive? Ive tried a ton of the HK army ones and they all tie up really short in the back. i like having a lot to be able to grab and tie back there like these. The HK ones say they're about 43 inch so id imagine others are like 48 inch but barely finding any
Love your videos! Its really cool that Hormesis has actually created a culture around their products and in record time. I would be curious if they reach saturation at some point on bands specifically, especially given the cost. Where will they go in the future? I think they could make almost any product or event work given their reputation (past and present), but will they maintain the staying power? I hope so anyway
Sandana is also selling new bands for $135 a piece. It’s not just Hormesis. Hell, so is tiger wear. I own a couple of Hormesis bands, and they are suuuuuper nice. The buying and selling them for hundreds over MSRP is fuckin dumb, but people can be stupid with their money if they want to.
I haven’t played paintball since Bunker King “We Kill Suckas” headbands were a new thing. Idk if BK is still a thing because I haven’t kept up paintball since then either. WTF is this algorithm doing.
@@painteaterpaintballWell damn. Now that I’ve been down memory lane I have to act like adult and not buy a new kit. Getting old and having to be responsible sucks sometimes. Nice channel.
Companies that help create gray markets are more harmful as all paintball products are greatly over priced the smaller brands doing it too is worse driving prices higher and higher. Its turns new players off of the sport
Be careful with animal collecting, you can quickly have to many pets that you cant take care of. and end up abusing your animals when you had never intended on being abusive to your pets.
