Understanding the Visa and Residency Options in Jamaica 🇯🇲 

My wife and I stopped in the immigration office on Fairview, Montego Bay. We were told if we retired there that we COULD NOT work. I do not know if we misunderstood, but they made it pretty clear. Retirees could not work. Please elaborate if you know more. She could claim me as a dependent, but then I could not work either. The worst part is I own a home free and clear, so we have no debt once we move there.

So you get a job offer and then file for a visa? What type of job will hold that position for you that long? Hotel job?
