Understanding Your Place in the Cosmos 

'Without consciousness what is there? No one experiences anything.' One of these videos you also talked about dreams. I thought of Helen Keller. So I searched and google served up something interesting (to me anyway): "Helen Keller described her dreams as missing any sound or objects and that they only had abstract feelings and sensations (mostly fear). She described one dream as her walking into a dark room and that some object fell to the ground with no sound causing her to feel as if the room she was in was shaking violently." Fascinating! So some object fell in her dream and Helen, having no sight or hearing to attribute to the object, felt it. And it seemed not a result of emotion but of sensation of the outward shaking of the room. So she processed the experience of the object falling through her sense of touch. This is fascinating to me. Anyway, consciousness is such an interesting subject. Thanks for this profound series. I like what you had to say about God. Ah, one other thing, time and space came first but without us conscious beings, the notion of love still exists, right? Because God created what every animal needed to eat and live comfortably; to not exist in a state of depravity. He created the dirt and the system of nutrients and dew to water every plant that animals would need to eat,. He took great care to cultivate all the working systems of the earth, even before He created us. His existence is found in the living expansion of fauna and flora. By creating us to be earthlings, we are explicit representations of His love. Nature is the implicit representation of His love.

What we are learning is that consciousness is not an emergent phenomena of laws. But that it is in it of itself a law. Like geometry, calculus, physics. Consciousness essentially is as fundamental to reality as these truths. The same rules of existence that reality emerges from that allows for a mountain to form for instance. Consciousness never goes away, but it does exist in different degrees, like the height of a mountain. And the greater the consciousness, the greater the ability to discern truth from falsehood.

Wow very mind stimulating. I heard that at conception there is a spark of light that happens. The egg and sperm create a spark when united. We each have the power to change the world should we accept it. People want to use the power for selfish desires which is why the world suffers today. The post and pre that you talk about applies to every challenge we do. It makes us new.

What I like to think about,, is being aware of an Awesome Creator, that not only did He make a 'conscious' decision to create the heavens and the earth, the galaxies, the universe, the present solar system with all it's intricate precisions, in making it possible for life to exist,,, but that he had an 'interest' to create us 'personal' humans in His likeness,,, with a 'conscious' ability to create also...

I don't know exactly how people go about completing rewriting anything and everything and calling "The Real Story", but has been going on since mankind decided to communicate. I disagree with a lot being said here because it isn't Biblical at all. It is a political belief or agenda based on opinions. As we all know, rarely does the story get passed along even remotely looking like it was originally written. Much of it is altered or even omitted to serve the particular culture of that time frame. I keep wondering why so much constant debate over what Eve is and is not. Who is best served by such a discussion?????
