WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T recalls when everyone was trying to get The Undertaker to do the spinaroonie after an episode of Monday Night Raw #wwe #wrestling #undertaker
This is why I wanna attend a house show soon. Apparently the wrestlers break character some more and genuinely just relax and have fun in non television shows. I love seeing that stuff
Seriously do it! I went to one back in December and it was so awesome seeing LA knight, Bianca, Bobby lashley and a few others for the first time. Cameron grimes was a highlight that night
Went to one a few years back and it was an amazing experience. They interact with the crowd a lot and you can tell they are having just as good a time as the audience is.
I get the undertaker because he’s like the only other pro wrestler who never breaks character at all but man just got bless him and Booker T. all around
maybe, but he may also not want to risk it. Though, it would be poetic for him to never, ever do it while active, and then do it back during his HoF induction.
Everybody coming down the ramp is amazing 😂😂😂😂😂😂 and Hunter went with " 12 damn years of deadman walking I want to see 1 night of deadman spinning" Iconic words
Booker-T low key was my fave. More than the rock, Steve Austin, and even Goldberg. When he would do his special I would always do it with him as a kid. So cool !
"Everyone has done the spinaroonie, except the undertaker" I highly doubt that, lol. I'd be willing to bet my lifes savings that the undertaker tried to do it in the privacy of his owm home later on, just to see if he could 🤣
@@Snyper1405Breaking kayfabe itself doesn't turn you into a joke. Kane very rarely actually broke kayfabe. Bad booking turns you into a joke; Kane's character was inconsistent but he always did stuff for how he was presented in the kayfabe storyline at the time. And Taker was certainly a bit of a joke in certain stretches of his career due to his own bad booking, even if he also kept kayfabe.
@andrewsparkes6275 Yes, but kane was so soft teaming up with wrestlers that were dancing and pandering to the fans like what hogan does, and it humanised him so much. Yes, when the undertaker turned to the american badass/big evil gimmick, he was more human, but he never sacrificed himself in a way that he wasn't ruthless. When he turned heel late 2001 after beating up JR, he was still an ass kicker, unlike Glenn's characters teaming up with the likes of X-Pac and RVD. Taker may have pulled away from the dark side in the 4 years he was the biker, but he still showed that ruthless side whether he was face or heel. He never even gave in to do the spinaroonie when everyone was egging him on
@@Snyper1405 Again: I was responding to the clearly implied point that Kane was less professional because he didn't keep kayfabe, in comparison to Undertaker keeping it. Yes, Kane pandered and was humanised, but that wasn't your original point. Again: Your original point was that Taker keeping kayfabe was why he was a success in comparison to Kane. But the truth is Kane also kept kayfabe. Keeping kayfabe was never part of Kane's problem, nor was it why Taker was more of a successful character than Kane was.
Yep man I miss my childhood. I remember coming home from school on Monday doing all my homework just so I can be able to watch Raw and then on Friday making sure I did well all week in school to be able to watch Smackdown. Now that i think of it WWE motivated me a bit 😂
This is what happens when you have a roster full of interesting personalities. Austin, Rock, Taker, Hunter, Golddust, Booker, etc. Today we have Roman, Kevin, Sami (when he's a heel), LA Knight, Hendry, The Usos, Logan Paul, etc. We have a lot of personalities but Trips keeps doing slow burn storylines when the roster is stacked, things need to be moving way faster now
And that is what makes wrestling fun trying to make other people laugh, just for our other enjoyment out of stupid stuff because we want to break character from the other people and we want to make it a lot more exciting that is what wrestling is all about
Dude, if I was in a wrestling capacity or someone’s trying to make me laugh just because of we’re having fun off camera and stuff I would be pretty angry, but at the same time I would understand it to a certain extent
@@elliotformayor I know of all the trials that he has been through like do you not see what this guy been doing to pro wrestling for the past 90 years? He screwed Brett Heart he got Ashley killed just like he got all the other wrestlers killed he never gave a damn about anybody else but himself and that whole entire damn ass Samoan, anoai family he almost destroyed the company that I always love for the past 17 years of my life do you ever think that this motherfucker is innocent for anything? Do you think that he is responsible for his own actions? No, this guy is pure evil and he is fucking lost as a box of toilet tissues after a virgin was jerking off he took ola Anderson promotion and turn his pro wrestling into sports entertainment, which is pro wrestling was never about sports entertainment. Wrestling was all about the fight for the battle he never gave a damn about his family and anybody else. He only cares about fucking money and he needs to be stopped before he hurts everybody else He is the real reason why Chris got his whole family got killed He’s the reason why Nancy’s family didn’t recover after Jimmy kill her he’s been harassing woman for the past couple years I just hope to God that Stephanie and Hunter and Linda can no longer take any of his shit anymore and when he dies, he gets no funeral
Booker T was my favorite character in WCW Nitro back on the N64 then when Smackdown Shut Your Mouth came out and i think it had that camera lock option where you can pause it right before the Scissor Kick man kid me was so hyped.
That shit was so damn funny!!! My dad hated it and would bitch that they were wasting time that could be spent wrestling...I just laughed my ass off, lol. The way he sald "king BooKa" with the "K' sound in the back of his throat was priceless, lol.
Book's catch phrases were hilarious...I laughed my ass off when he was "King BooKa!" they would drag his entrance out forever...my dad would be so pissed they were eating up time. He was always the perfect mark when it came to wrestling, lol. RIP Dad.
Watch, where gonna see a RU-vid video of Undertaker standing there and then he just does a Spinaroonie. Then after getting up he just says “there, are you happy?” And walks off 😂
I was thinking they looked younger in that clip than I remember...both were born in 1965 (Booker is just a couple of weeks older than Taker, in fact). Meaning both were under 40 when this happened. Which looks 'old' to a guy in his very early 20s...but yup, the reason they look young is because I'm a now 40yo looking at guys younger than me. Time fucking flies...
Crazy.. I remember Booker T and Chris Benoit going through a best of 7 series for the WCW US Title… both were billed to be the Future of WCW… to see Booker all these years later as a WWF/E two time Hall of Famer.. talking about how everyone has done the spinaroonie and even just in the ring with Taker….it’s crazy how life works out…
Great things came from trying to make the Undertaker break character. Even The People's Elbow. Which was a silly looking move The Rock created to make Taker laugh.
Yes, he actually is. He is doing commentary on NXT. He is actually part of the reason Trick Williams's entrance to them became so popular due to his ad-libs.
