This does an amazing job of preserving the emotional motion of the original, which is rare for ASGORE covers.

I searched up Bereavement and here's what I found "Bereavement is the period of sadness and loneliness that we experience from a loss. ... For example, it is possible for someone to experience bereavement as a result of losing a spouse in a divorce. It is also possible for children to experience bereavement when their best friend moves away to another state." So this term applies to all 4 of the Dreemurs

I'm guessing when toby made Asgore's theme he couldn't come up with a name till it was too late...

Loving the take Flashygoddess did on this song, i would dare say i prefer this version over the original, Flashy has a very upbeat style on they songs, and i love it.

It sounds like something you get when you beat the game and just wanna fight the bosses again, like a preview of the actual song.

In the song, Asgore, it gives the feeling of sadness, loss, and an unwillingness to fight. During the fight Asgore holds his trident point down, and doesn’t even look you in the eye. Bereavement still has the tones of sadness and loss, but seems to lack the unwillingness to fight. If this had been an actual fight i think Asgore would be looking you straight in the eyes, trident held high.

i dont know about everyone else but this is quite a powerful version of this song. it's honestly givin me big feels right now

This could have been used for the scrapped “final attack” where asgore would raise his trident above his head, roar, then slam it down into the box, causing it to shake violently, followed by his eyes flashing, and 6 trident swipes.

I first heard this on the Vinyl box set and was wowed by it. Really great rendition that I dont think many people knew of (including myself)

ASGORE has always been one of my favorite pieces in the treasure trove that is the Undertale OST. Yet, I've never heard this remix before. I'm glad I did now. It does everything perfectly. I think it's my new favorite version of the song.

My fav on the CD soundtrack. Feels like a perfect final boss theme to me honestly. Superepic!

If Asgore had an (Acual) genocide Fight i think this would be the song playing. and in the middle 2:33 he would almost die but fully heals. And when you do defeat him he drops an f bomb

Now I kind of want to see Asgore as a special Rival in Creatures Of Aether. His ability: at the end of battle attempt to flip opposing cards in a heart shape around his tile.

The latter portion of this reminds me of Burial from the 9 soundtrack... absolutely chilling.

When I first heard this in a video I thought this sounds like a rivals track and of course the composer is flashygoodness real glad it was him because had no leads otherwise.

I'm guessing this would've either been used for the Asgore fight in Hardmode or would've been used in an Asgore Genocide fight.

I want this as a theme in a mod where you fight the Bad Time Trio but they revive the rest of the Underground and calls the other Undertale AUs to fight you.

I don't know if I've just listened to the original song so many times, but I feel like this song breathes a new life into the original with its more varied instruments and use of less less pixelated sounding instruments adding a whole new dimension to how the song feels.

As great as this song is, I don’t think it truly carries the weight of Asgore. For it to really fit him, I feel like it would need more power. This would definitely fit Asgore is he had seemed more weakened by the guilt and regret he had during his fight, maybe even less weak or a first phase, but by itself I don’t think it can truly show the strength Asgore has. Besides that, it’s still a great and emotional song. It gives the looming feeling of sorrow. I still really like it.

I honestly think toby wanted all three dreemurrs to have "different" music from the original chiptune. The asriel theme "Hopes and Dreams" being the primary theme people talk about for this game, and megalovania. But in all honesty it makes sense that he'd want the family to have instrumental music rather than chiptune, to both show the boss monster side, and thier importance to the story. But im glad with what we've got, plus he did soo much on the genocide route that i can't even complain.
