First song on my guitar thanks man I’m trying to learn multiple instruments I’ve gotten pretty good at drums so I’ve picked up guitar and I think this is a good place to start
i'll make a little diary reporting my learning stages of this song as a beginner, maybe it can inspire someone who finds it as challenging as i'm finding it! 1st day - got the first 10 seconds somewhat right, my fingers are already pretty tired and sore from other stuff so i'll call it quits. 2nd day - mostly improved in consistency from the part i already learned (still pretty messy, but better). i'm really struggling with getting the movements on my right hand right and not accidentally hitting wrong strings. 3rd day - didn't have much time to practice over the weekend, but i kept improving and am now learning the third part :)

You hold your finger on the fret, then pluck the string, then right afterward slide your finger up or down the fretboard while still keeping pressure on that string. It may hurt if you’re not used to it or you’re brand new, but after a while you build up calluses and then it’s easy!
