Recently, I've been re-visiting old fandoms I used to be into. Undertale has been probably one of my favorite. I would just like to thank everybody in this fandom in 2017-2018 for making my life the best it possibly could be. I'm also trying to find my piano so I can learn this song. Again, thank you to everybody in this fandom, you have made a person's life better. (Edit: its been 2 years and I'm coming back to this video. If you're confused on how I lost a PIANO, it was like one of those small beginner ones. Nice seeing you all again! I'll be back in like a year or two to reunite once more ;)

breaking down the song for you!! + tips!! {SECTION 1} START 0:05 start 0:05-0:18 repeat x4 (ends at 0:58) have fun with your journey!! {SECTION 2} 0:58-1:24 probably the “hardest” part, but learn bit by bit and learn right hand (green) then left! (blue) {SECTION 3} 1:24-2:16 also a really hard part! i’d give the same advice as section 3 :D keep practicing! {SECTION 4} END 2:16-2:41 aah you made it!! great job!! this part should be simplier than the others, great job! again, practice right than left!! {TIPS!} i recommend practicing each section different days! listen to the song first and get a feel in how your hands are gonna move :D never, ever give up! it may seem hard, but with practice you can do it!! listen to other tutorials that can maybe simplify this if it’s too hard. maybe start there and come back to this!! practice your transition to other notes! slow the playback speed down, and practice at a slower pace! enjoy what your playing! if you don’t enjoy the song, you won’t be motivated to learn!! keep going please reply your concerns so i can edit advice in this comment!!

As a somewhere in between beginner and intermediate pianist, I've come to this song and thought that it was too difficult to play. But now that I've been feeling explorative lately, I came back to this song and I've learned the first 20 seconds in 5-8 minutes. Such a nostalgic song I'm so glad I found the guts to play it lol

Thank you for this video, I slowed it down and finally learned how to play it, this is now my favourite song on the piano, it always makes me so happy when I play it

I can play from 0:00 to 0:58 both right and left parts but just not together yet, it’s super hard to do a different thing on one hand and another on the other for me. After I do learn how to play it together, I will learn the rest of the song! This song is so beautiful ^•^ Update: I practiced for at least 15 minutes a day for like 2 days and I can play 0:00 to 0:58 perfectly without any stopping when switching to different parts and I can play them together right. Super easy now! :D

recently, i’ve been going through a rough patch in my life and today i suddenly remembered my 5th grade year and how much i loved undertale. i made friends because of it and we all bonded over this. it was almost as if undertale raised me when my family didn’t want to. i come back to this video every now and then just to think about those times and to reflect on other recent events that happened in my life. even though i’m not in the fandom anymore, i’ll always come back to this masterpiece that moved me to tears. thank you toby💖

I get that it's annoying when you deeply cherish something and others take it away from you or other stuff but PLEASEEE stop commenting that I should shut up. This is such a fun and lovely thing to play. I don't know what it is about 3/4 but I find it very fun to play pretty much anything in this time signature. I find my hands almost always rock back and forth to the pulse as I push them into the keys, and the super waltzy bit in the 3rd part is very fun to get into the rhythm of. I can't for the life of me do the trills but it's still very fun! Thank you very much for making this arrangement and providing sheet music for it. You are a blessing to musicians LyricWulf :)

My favorite part has to be the little waltz-like section at 1:23 , it's just such a cool addition, with the way the main theme gets interwoven into the piece.

It's so cheesy putting this here but I want to let it off my chest. I was in the Undertale fandom from 2016-2017 and just hearing this makes me comforted but also filled with regret. During this time I had friends who also loved Undertale. We met and became close because of it. Unfortunately for them, I was a total asshole and did some horrible and unforgivable things towards the people who trusted me. After hurting all of them, all I had left was the memories and regrets. I still feel remorseful, but I can't do anything to reverse the past. Although this song makes me remember things I don't want to, it's also a reminder for me to never go back to what I was before. It hurts to play, but it soothes me at the same time.
