did you know, if you play games like fnaf, and mute them, they immediately stop being scary? same goes for any horror games. its all in the music. it doesnt even seem like it!
No I....I.... I can be of use to you! Chara? Is that you? We can be friends! We always have been! We can- *Slash* *Slash* *Slash* *Slash slash slash* . . .
God damn it, Flowey is such a good villain. One of my favourites. I love the way he was defeated not because of some cliche like friendship, but because of a legitimate flaw in his evil plan, which he reasonably might’ve missed as he was a literally soulless monster. The 6 souls he relied on were human souls, and didn’t want to murder another human and give the powers of a god to a figuratively soulless monster.
I was reaaallly caught off guard by this fight. My only thought was "IS THIS MEANT TO BE IMPOSSIBLE???" Then, after dying many times, I got past the first wave... and I was filled with determination.
Same, I thought that you fighting and getting killed repeatedly by Flowey was just a really fucked up twist ending meant to scar you XD. I figured out what to do after I finally got past the first onslaught, and then after that I just #YOLOSWAGGIT'd my way through everything.
Getting this boss fight, training very hard and dying a lot of times, then beat him with only 1 hit, then doing the genocide, fighting Sans and beat him at first try, fill you with DETERMINATION. #IMFEELINGLIKEAFUCKINPRO
Me: crap crap crap crap! *dodges plants* Me: Okay, that was close. Wait, FIle 2 Saved, what does that me- *gets sucked back in time into the plant vine attacks* Flowey: :P
+CountofBleck I was always impressed by myself when I instinctively turned around as soon as I saw File Loaded and dodged his attacks multiple times in a row before he finally managed to hit me with the attack. He'll keep it up relentlessly, then suddenly relent, then load again.
Why is the Neutral End Boss the creepiest? Also, I wish there was a unique boss that only happened if you almost finished a Genocide Route, but reset and decided to go True Pacifist. The final boss in this instance could be the dark soul you almost became. The music and the look of the Neutral End Boss would fit perfectly.
*A gigantic Abomination of Flowey towers over your Soul *Frisk touches the Huge Screen, which monitors Floweys face *Flowey instantly loses his form, making him weak and withered *Frisk pulled out Sunglasses from seemingly nowhere, donning them while putting on a Smirk *Flowey somehow grew Hands, and turned around to Frisk, both hands up, each with, to what we spied, a Middle Finger Rising slowly *Yet flowey got no reaction from Frisk, other than another Pair of Sunglasses appearing out of thin air on Frisks face
+TheExplodingcheez Technically he's two of the three. I've just led those who haven't gotten all of the endings onto a trail of disbelief, dissapointment, and anger, yet most of all, bewilderment.
+Taylor Tootell It always reminded me of those really fucked up Japanese shoot-em-ups with photorealistic mishmashes for boss battles. Stuff like Chou Aniki.
Heh Heh "But no body came" How sad ... I always hated that fuzzy ol' fellow ASGORE But thanks! With your help, HES DEAD I HAVE ABSORBED THE SIX HUMAN SOULS I AM A LITERAL GOD D I E
I just find it hard to believe how much easier Flowey is compared to Sans. I mean, Flowey consumed SEVERAL human souls, and asll you had was your determination. No leveling or anything. While, with Sans, you pretty much decimated everything in the Underground and got to level 19 with so much fucking strength. But... he wrecks your shit for HOURS ON END!!! LIKE WTF!!!
That's just because you have no invincibility frames. If you had that, it'd probably be same level difficulty, maybe easier since he has a linear attack pattern, whereas Flowey is a bit more erratic.
Serris -X It's not even that. It's how much more hectic Sans' attacks are compared to Flowey's. He does massive amounts of damage and can kill you extremely fast even though you have 96 HP and a damn locket that gives you 99 DF, while Flowey has to put in effort even though you would have about at least 20 health.
Sans just uses techniques, he knows you'll reset if he just kills you straight off the bat. He use the techniques so you'll eventually give up, Flowey's attacks are similar in a way but he's more direct with damaging you
I love how the song sounds like it’s degrading more and more as you continue on through the battle, almost representing Flowey’s deteriorating sanity as attack after attack fails and he begins to grow desperate as you survive, thinking he might not win this battle after all. The syncopation in the bridges, and the instrument changes in the melody segments also add a lot to the chaotic vibes
Out of all of the three final bosses, I'd say this one is the best. While the pacifist one is more or less a cutscene, because there's no actual challenge to it, and sans is more of an endurance thing rather than an actual fight. While this one is just... terrifying and incredibly difficult at that. It's such a unique idea, turning a harmless plant into an absolute monstrosity, formed of actual real life things just sloppily, yet masterfully, photoshopped together. In my opinion, this fight is the peak of Undertale. (I'm not a huge fan of the game to begin with)
Now the question is. Which of the endings is the hardest? In my opinion Asriel Dreemur is no where near as hard as Ultra Flowey or Sans, but I can't decide on Flowey or Sans. In my opinion, I think Floweys boss fight is just a punishment for killing one monster and Toby is making you regret it, however with Sans you know what you're in for as you purposefully killed everyone. I believe that Sans fight is more skill based where as Floweys is shear luck, I still can't decide. Either way, awesome soundtrack.
How to make this fight infinity times better: #1: Name the fallen human after someone you hate. #2: Die a bunch of times on this fight. #3: Grab some snacks, and ENJOY!
Well... I was recruited by the military (we were in the future.) and they took me off the street because my family was brutally killed. Now, the people who were taking me to the general were attacked by a native sub- human species which were part wolf. The wolf people (Urushi) Shot a flaming arrow into one of the soldiers eyes and he burned to death screaming. The other soldiers fought back but were dying out. I grabbed the burning soldiers handgun and shot a male Urushi (There were two male and female. The female did the killing while the male protected her.) I then shot the female. They were now at my mercy and begged for mercy. Suddenly I felt an intense rage and brutally killed them both. The remaining soldier congratulated me on my murder but I still felt bad. Then to make matters worse, I saw a young urushi child, the son of the two I killed. I forced him to bear what I had to... I got depressed, eventually went crazy, then executed myself... I woke up to hear this song playing through my earbuds... Sorry if that was too long.
Ohhh Man, I was just about to request this! I wonder if its possible to do a Half and Half extension? Like Half "Your Best Nightmare" and Half "Finale". Or maybe FInale playing on the finale loop would be better. Who knows?
I don't get it : Flowey + 6 humain soul = god of the game = master of time = being, out of the game's univers. Flowey + 6 humain soul and every monster soul = invincible being.
David lechevalier Flowey wasnt a God in Omega form. he said he needed one more soul before he could become GOD. In the wall history lesson in the Waterfall, it would require every monster's soul in the underground to equal one Human Soul.
For Giygas it's slow and strange yet still chaotic, barely music but driving you to defeat this thing that threatens everything An abomination made by the strangest parts, omega flowey is just pure terror and he wants to bring that from you. The theme fits perfectly, strange and terrifying.
This might sound weird, but I love this part of the soundtrack. It totally fits the scenario; with high pitched psychedelic notes, demonic droning tones, and the fast pace of it puts you edge. I think a good amount of work was put into this piece.
Thank you so much for extending this song this was my favorite song to fall asleep to and now I can watch it for a longer period of time before I have to restart it thank you so much
I remember me and my brothers reaction when we first saw flowey for the fight And we were like “WHAT IN THE FUCKING HELL IS THIS MONSTROUS CREATURE HOW TF DO WE BEAT THIS FLOWEY YOU SON OF A BITCH THATS NOT FAIR”
How come whenever anyone in video games gets godlike power, they turn into hideous abominations? I mean if I had that kind of power, I'd probably just stay looking the way I am, other than... I dunno... giving myself a tail would be cool.
lol this song looks like flowey is just singing a very spooky song and the human souls are playing the drums in a very odd manner and giving spooky sound effects with some spooky instrument
Dun Dun DUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN Dun Dun DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN! Dun DUN DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN! DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHEHEHEHEHEHE! HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAH!
Fun fact: in my final day of Primary School we had a party in the classroom and people would select music so me and my friend decided to play this and my teacher thought it was funny and kept it on. He is a chad.
