Noooo… because attempting to wipe out a human village, eradicating the remaining monsters, along with all of humanity, and stealing another child’s soul is TOTALLY a good thing to do.

Chara may not have committed genocide on monsters… (well, they DID, but not the one we see), but they are FAR from innocent.

Okay, 1. They never said they wanted to wipe out a whole village, they said they knew a village near the mountain they could go to for the plan. 2. The *player* does genocide, not Chara. They're a kid who gets influenced by it, like all kids. 3. They wipe out the universe to protect it from *you*, the player, that is if you do genocide. But if you never did genocide, then Chara never showed themselves to you. You would never know what they were like as the player, only a watcher. Undertale doesn't need a villain. Everyone is morally grey, and that's fine. We can accept some shades and not others, but we shouldn't criticize kids for wanting to save their friends and family only to pass away in the process.

Chara is affected by our choices, they have only killed one monster, that was flowey, they also never wanted to eradicate a human village, they wanted asriel to defend himself when being attacked by the humans, Chara never stole frisks soul as we sell it to them, Chara taking Frisks soul at the end of genocide is served as a punishment to us for killing all those whom they cared about, where in the hell are you getting your information from

the problem is the fandom uses Chara as a scapegaot when we are the ones killing evrey budy

​@@acktack3578 That is so wrong, they could've stopped the player (us) from doing it in the first place and they were not corrupted like people said so, they need cooperation of the player to complete the genocide route. And if they were corrupted then why Chara doesn't appear in the neutral route like they do in the genocide route, we can still get a bunch of LV of killing 38 knight knights, reaching LV 15 but Chara wont influence Frisk or move them like the they do in the genocide route. If you miss a unique enemy or failed the kill count, they will stop and won't continue down that path unless you go back and do it right. Chara's influence in Frisk is still there, with a bunch of kills, Frisk will start to become more cruel and different then they were before.

@@cristafox4735???? The reason she doesn’t appear in the neutral route is the same reason sans doesn’t fight in the neutral route. You didn’t kill everyone meaning you didn’t go around killing everyone for no reason. Chara even says that you weren’t above the consequences 💀

if dont kill everyone it can be counted as self defense,but if you want to eradicate ALL of living creatures in your way than you are a maniac. Chara makes you to feel consequences of your actions so you will stop playing with everybody around you like with toys. so Player is the one who is evil here. chara erases world and kills you so you will not kill all humans in this world for your bloodlust

Well, they do help you and if they didn't wanted you to go down that path, they would've stopped you (the player) from doing that route in the first place. Chara, the fallen human is the only reason we could do a genocide run in the first place, without them, we couldn't done it. And please don't say that "Chara is corrupted, etc, etc" that's not the case and I can say why, LOVE and KILLS doesn't corrupted them but give them power and influence over Frisk but if they corrupted then why Chara suddenly stops when you mess up by sparing an unique enemy or missing a enemy, you can still get a lot of love in a neutral run by killing 39 knight knights, reaching LV 15 but Chara doesn't appear to that, seems like Chara need OUR cooperation to do the genocide route, after all Chara learned that they need a willing partner. There's another thing, Chara hates monster kind as well after they come back inside of Frisk. How I know this that's canon, Toriel says it themselves; "You really hate me that much..." when striking her down with one blow and there's a lot of other reasons why you could kinda oneshot "all" bosses but this is getting long so...

@@lesyeuxdelisa6556 I've played the game a ton of times and gotten almost every ending except for around half of the neutral endings and im talking about frisk not chara (partially)

@@GonerXD and you’re still wrong tho. We are the one who’s in control. Not frisk. We are not frisk and game showed us so many times. They have their own name, gender and possible story but we, the player can’t learn about them too much considering we controlled them. They can talk, they can choose if they want to. “let Frisk live their life”? He’s literally asking you to let Frisk be free and truly themself, rather than resetting and taking control of them again.

@@GonerXD i know it’s easier to blame others rather than yourself. But both undertale and deltarune is about you being the one with the control and forcing others. How could frisk be a genocidal kid who wants to kill monsters over and over while they are just doing what you choose? And you said the human village while frisk never had any intentions to any of this.
