That 1:31 room with the red "creatures" milling about.... is that the only room where NPCs walk shuffle around? I can't think of any other place where non-event NPCs move idly like that.

Nice theory, but the room name says otherwise. I believe it's supposed to be the actual playable overworld and the red things are supposed to be humans, though the idea was quickly discarded

My opinion on this matter: I can understand why Toby Fox is begging people not to spill the beans about his game and all about its story or these secrets, but honestly this is a beta-testing area and a sprite test room for the developers, and honestly this doesn't count as breaking the promise you made to him (really none of it does, but wait for it--) except for this case where its publicly available on RU-vid. But most sprites were used (those that werent were designs, drawings of Omega Flowey, etc.), and this isnt really game-spoiling. You get the idea.

7:04 I'm convinced what was meant to happen for the cutscene in this original version is that the wood would've been like a bridge platform that you pass under, but undyne is facing away, and as you're beneath it the scene triggers so she doesn't really know you're there, and it would've been why papyrus fled the scene, as he was basically told to murder a friend right in front of their face. I assume it was later changed because with undyne literally closer to you than papyrus it would've been hard to justify you not hearing her speak to him, but decided they wanted her dialog to him to be ambiguous so they changed the area up.
2:24. Okay, I haven't seen this video in a while. I always assumed this sprite was like, Chara or something before dying or the genocide route. But now that I look at it again, this is Toby Fox's first Kris! (Look very closely or slow it down, it is only a few frames)
Well, even if what I'm gonna say is not confirmed or anything, I think Toby intended that sprite to appear when doing the genocide run, simbolizing how with every stat leveling up, you become the CHARActer that appears when you complete the run (since Chara says that they simbolize the 'leveling up' of LOVE, EXP, Gold, etc) but it seems like Toby scraped it...

Juaneste Look up the sprite sheets. Toby himself said some of them are used but we’ve never seen them before. Hard mode was and is a joke and he never intended on adding it in. Toby is a very very very smart dude. There’s probably a very specific thing we have to do to trigger the secret endings
room2 I believe has to be the scariest. You see the three froggits disappear in a sea of red. Also, Gaster always speaks with the asset abc_123_a.ogg. Check that out.

In room_water_readcted 1:02 the song playing in the background is "Premonition." This song possibly relates to a lot of things so I'll number them out. Also, the thing what the sprite says is *[redacted] 1. The only other time Premonition plays in Undertale is when you talk to Sans about echo flowers at Grillby's 2. Premonition is a leitmotif "Before the Story" from Deltarune Chapter 1 ost, which only plays on the menu screen after beating the game at least once 3. Before the Story also has the leitmotif "Once Upon A Time" in it from Undertale ost, which plays during the introduction sequence of Undertale when you launch the game I don't know what this all means together but I'm sure some of you theorists out there could form something out of this info.

guys, after looking around in the games code after the most recent patch, on line 4487 in the script, I found the name Gaster in there. What's strange is, these lines are the inputs for boss names/enemy names, you'll find things like "Asriel Dreemur" and more here. Unless this is leftover text, did I just confirm an unused Gaster battle? *EDIT* after looking around some more I just realized, that is the last line of text for that section..
+FightingMario54321 || In strings.txt, there is A LOT of unused lines and some lines are for error handlings, and for variables, constants, global variables, extension variables checking, like: caster_loop But the most strange thing is: These lines of code are used for those entities names. So, maybe Gaster is an unused battle or just an unused entity in this game. Gaster is still a mystery in this game.
fun fact: joyconfig can be found when you insert a controller your computer recognizes as an xbox controller, undertale will see it is inserted and you can configure settings to map buttons to keys. yes, you can use programs to make your computer recognize a dualshock 3 or 4 be recognized as an xb controller

In a way, the test rooms that aren’t old versions of rooms replaced in newer builds of the game feel like little pieces of Gaster. You know, outside of time and space? Edit: As I’ve become more engrossed in how Toby has handled Deltarune, this idea has become more and more of something that I can believe. God knows what Gaster has done to shatter across worlds, let alone take others with him…

Might have been something related to Flowey? Or maybe Toriel? Who knows. It was cut either way. I really liked the way the spear dog looked. I prefer that over lesser dog.
I dunno why, but the creepiest ones for me were the Spritecheck room and the room_overworld ones freaked me out the most... I think the overworld one creeped me out because it was the Game Over music...
