it makes me happy to know that since EVERY playthrough of Undertale is technically a canon timeline, the people who attempted genocide runs and rage quit at Undyne the Undying are the timelines where she succeeds in stopping you and saving the world.

Can I just say I absolutely love the name of the song that plays before Battle against a True Hero? It's called "But the Earth Refused to Die" And it is just such a perfect name for a prelude to the third best theme and battle in the game.

The thing I really liked about this fight, was, essentially, Undyne was the Hero, the Protagonist. And the player was the main Antagonist. The idea that you were the villain, the unbeatable, all powerful villain. and She is the hero, who's destiny it is to stop you.

Love this game. Don’t care what anyone says. Whoever thinks this game is “cancer” (side note- that’s a noun, so you’ve already lost credibility in my books) has either never actually played it or has no appreciation for 4th wall satire. This game manages to be genuinely funny and heartbreaking at once, based around your choices. And the music mashes potatoes fo sho.

Never has a undertake remix had same epic orchestra components that have been styled in a similar way to halo. I love this. I have searched epuc orchestra remixes to find one that has deep strings, chorus, and epic drums like the genius of halo. Who knew i would find it on undertale amino?

1st part: pure gold. The rest: still excellent, although it somewhat failed to convey the fact that an urgent/epic battle is taking place. It sounds more like a WWII memorial tune (if you were going for that). Maybe a faster drumbeat or background tune at certain points would help.

this gives me ptsd from the fight, i spent like, 2 hours (straight, nonstop), on this fight, in total it took around 3 weeks, *note, this was all on a ps4 controller, which makes it 541514663x harder*, and after this fight, i thought "I'm too far too give up on the last sans fight!", and surely, after around 7 hours of straight gameplay, i beat sans. *ON CONTROLLER*

I find that this has been constructed very well, it's slightly more reserved and darker urgent tone would suit the in game situation well, if Undyne dies it is highly likely that all others would die as well (since I think very few genociders would suspect Sans of being the final barrier she would be considered the last stand for Hope and therefore the last true obstacle) a piece truly befitting of a last stand. The silence strengthens resolve, the trumpets the gathering of power and the violins and cellos give detail to the battle at hand. ... At the very least that's how I hear it. Still excellent work, thumbs up.

they forgot the heartbeat in the beginning. if you listen to the original "But the Earth Refused to Die", you can hear the heartbeats of everyone in the world beating as one if you listen closely. it was a nice detail that wasn't there in this one.

You know, there are so many videos on RU-vid that claim to be epic remixes (many are to a degree), but this. This is a true masterpiece. You perfectly captured the feeling of fear that is felt when fighting her. The feel of awe in her power is kept and amplified. The sense of both desperation and power are kept in every bit of this piece. If ever there was an UnderTale adaptation for an HD game or movie, I have no doubt that you would nail the part for the composer if you gave it a shot.

this remix slightly reminds me of music from Hollow Knight. And that game has one of my all time favorite soundtracks, so think of that as a good thing.
