I just realized that about 0:45 seconds in, what used to be the beats of a drum start to sound a lot like… *gunshots.* Imagine being a monster and actually hearing this in the background. Seeing (and hearing) Clover relentlessly shoot every monster would be absolutely terrifying. _And you’d be the last _*_1 left._*
@@panweon511 Now I want to see someone rewrite the ending of Spec Ops The Line, and have it be for Undertale Yellow. Undertale Yellow: The Line Asgore would be already long dead, having ended his own life out of guilt and loneliness. The Underground would have seriously lost hope, and a power vacuum. By the time a heavily injured Clover makes it to New Home, the rest of the royal guard surrenders to him. Then Clover finds "Asgore" near a huge floral artwork of his, depicting every major Clover killed in agony.
good God I wrote some long deep paragraph under this comment and it got DELETED BECAUSE OF COURSE IT DID edit: I BACKED IT UP IN MY NOTES APP IT'S NOT GONE
You're long gone, you know that already. There's no saving you now. The sheer _hatred_ that ran through your blood when Axis confessed to his slaughter... There's no saving you now. You march onwards. This is for the fallen humans, you remind yourself. But every person _(monster.)_ you encounter brings a sort of cathartic relief when they turn to dust. That isn't what good children feel when murdering civilians. Whatever. There's no saving you now. An enemy is nearby. You enter the apartment. Nobody but Flowey's there, and you feel a sick sense of disappointment. This is for the fallen souls. You ignore Flowey as you open the shop. Nobody's there. You snatch some food and a patch thing with the insignia you keep seeing everywhere. After a moment, you swipe some money from the register. You try not to look at your reflection in the floors. You enter the back alley. You barely even process it as you rifle through the trash cans. The end lies beyond. Let justice be done. There she is. What is she doing? The zenith of Monsterkind. ... There's no saving you now.
Idk why this music sparks me to write some lil stuff about it, but just imagine, You're a monster, living amongst your peers and others. One day, you hear echoes of a human having fallen down there. Thing is, you'd hear *other* echoes. The distant sounds of firing, shooting, and perhaps the screams or eerie silence of the bodies of your once friends and family. The song keeps slowing on and on, it doesn't feel right. You're expecting the human to come to their senses and stop the mess they are creating. And yet, you hear more and more gunshots, and they are getting *progressively closer* . You try to run away, to no avail due to the gunshots still approaching. You are scared, alone, and the last survivor. Then you meet their gaze, and they meet yours, except that you're feeling like a deer in headlights. And you are right, you are. You don't have anything left, so you just accept it. Even if a small sliver of hope still clung to you like a tumor, for the gun to never shoot, or for someone to come save you... ...but nobody came.
ngl the first gunshot scared me on how close it sounds to an actual gunshot. the unslowed version is made to sound cheerful, but this, this is just relentless killing.
Given jaundice is a figurative synonym for enmity (source: merriam-webster) which is a synonym for malice, it could also just be said that it has become jaundice.
this is the one i was looking for. this is the real genocide theme of undertale yellow imo. sad i'm gonna get desensitized to it as i go to sleep to it
*The air around you is filled with dust. *You convince yourself what you are doing is right. *....You are bringing them JUSTICE. *... *... *... *...Right...? *The enemy stops moving. *JUSTICE served...
This sounds dead, start reminds of a person dying in the hospital, like the heart rate checker thing, and the rest reminds me of in my way, genocide bonetrousle, and the creepiness is kind of like but nobody came/mus_toomuch
enemy retreating takes place during regular encounters when there are only 7 monsters left in an area and this could be for the last enemy in regular undertale genocide edit: this is because it sounds like in my way so it should take place as the last regular enemy in an area in undertale not just undertale yellow
