People need to realise that even if Edwards cant pop off, his teammates now realise that and will be there to fill the void when hes getting clamped (which is rare). Gonna be a great series.
Just an FYI, the one Minnesota lost was without Anthony towns cuz I don't know why people keep mention just Edwards because Carl Anthony towns is a superstar
Yeah, but in his defense he’s just an upset Lakers fan. He’s fresh off a gentleman’s sweep. As a Timberwolves fan, I don’t want anyone picking us. I want everyone to pick Denver, and until Minnesota beats them, Denver is the team to beat. Minnesota plays well with an under dog mentality. They haven’t earned the right to be the favorites in a series yet.
Is it hate? Murray is injured and the wolves are an aggressive team. This isn’t a good matchup for the nuggets. I’d favor them bc they have the best player but I wouldn’t be surprised if the wolves win

I thought Keyshawn said that the regular season doesn’t matter? OKC has a winning record against DEN, LAC and DAL but he’ll never pick them to win against any of the others bc the regular season doesn’t count
The Wolves Nuggets games this year definitely had a playoff like feel though, they had way more energy than typical regular season games so I think you can use it as a barometer more so than other series.
Keyshawn so much better to watch now that he doesn’t have that angry demeanor towards skip. It’s nice to see him smiling having fun it has turned this show into the best sports show to watch. No bias in their debates 💯
Even if Jamal Marray fake playing hurt, the edge is still MN. MN have Naz and McDaniels this time around. Kat will be on Jokic, Ant on Murray. MN in 5 if not sweep.
whoever wins game 1 wins the whole match. these 2 teams got nothing to hide anymore. tactics and rotations etc etc. whomever gets to perform at their best game 1 means they got the other team figured out.
Don't know why the analysts are still missing the x-factor with the Wolves-it's their depth. Naz Reid, Alexander-Walker, Kyle Anderson, and Monte Morris are all starters in this league in a parallel universe. The Nuggets will bring in Watson, Braun, Reggie Jackson (decent), and who, DJ? Bruce Brown is gone. Wolves in 6.
And MPJ and Jokic played like 46 minutes last game. Almost all starters played close to or at 40 minutes. That’s not going to be sustainable over a full series.
@@user-gc1wj8tt2pGoing into the series the Suns we’re actually considered a bad matchup for the Wolves and they still managed to sweep them. A lot easier for KAT and Rudy to guard Jokic in the post than it is for them to guard KD on the perimeter. And unlike against Suns, they can double Jokic because Gordon is not a 3 point threat whereas the Suns will punish you for that.
Don’t forget Joker is the best player in the world. How quickly we forget. Now if Edward’s outplays him we can give him the title perhaps, but that’s a huge IF. Joker didn’t get to be the best player by luck. The guy is a freak.
The Gobert trade wasn’t too much. They shed the first round pics to avoid the luxury tax and can pay Ant and KAT long term. Also they broke the trade market for other teams.
Skip, if you seriously think Murray is a better player than Ant at this juncture, you’re high. Defense alone would set Ant apart, not to mention he’s been similarly clutch in the playoffs.
I think I heard this before didn’t they say the lakers were going to win also? The hate of the nuggets is amazing. I’m going to be laughing again when Minnesota goes down just like the lakers.

For Denver, it will come down to MPJ and KCP how well they contribute being aggressive. Jamal and Jokic can not do it by themselves. The bench will need to step it up. Denver in 6 or 7
First was lebron and the lakers, and now is antman and the wolfes... Big disrespect to the champs and the mvp. I hope the Nuggets win it all again so all these trash talkers have to eat their own words.
The only reason why I believe Denver should be worried is cuz The Minnesota wolves seem to have this toughness about them. And this toughness that they have mixed with having the right players to make the right plays is what can give them an edge. They're going to come hard on defense and they're going to come hard on offense also. It's going to be A crazy series to watch.
If wolves steal a game in Denver , this might be over quickly. Denver are still the reigning champs, no doubt, but the wolves will be their toughest challenge in these playoffs. Whoever wins will most likely be hoisting up the Larry O'Brien trophy come June
Trying to say Murray is better than Ant is hilarious. Murray has been bad these playoffs. Ant puts his team in positions where they don’t n need a last second bucket. Also, that first game winner by Murray was cold but the second was a soft D giving up an easy bucket
