Because Stephen A, just like the other Black hosts, are racist. Joker should have won it the last 4 years in a row but they couldn't have a white man win it 4 times in a row
@@jetsettech8804he has picked against the nuggets in every single series (except this one) they have played going back to last season’s playoffs. And he thinks the mavs will beat them
@@jetsettech8804 there really hasnt been an equal retribution for HOW WRONG he was about Jokic. Genuinely might be the most wrong a talking head has been about a player, and he was vehement about it.
What Joker did to Shaq is maybe one of the hardest flex in the NBA ever. “Oh i don’t deserve MVP? Ok I’ll just get a stat line you could never have gotten in your prime and I’ll take out my anger on ya new fave lil team”
@@RFSpartanThey both would cook each other so who cares? If you genuinely think Shaq defensively could lock up Jokic for a series you’re drunk. If you have great footwork, you’ll get yours against Shaq and Jokic has elite footwork
@@RFSpartanShaq can't guard jokic without fouling him. Especially out on the perimeter. He'd bring him out the paint and throw dimes all game. Shaq can try to 1v1 his way to a win if he wants but it's not gonna work well that way
Jokic' is a freak. He playes in the paint like Mchale and runs the point like Magic. Just sit back and enjoy the greatness. Its a shame that Nuggets are the most disrespected championship team in NBA history.
Till they repeat. Then respect will be on their name for sure. That’s how it is for all one time winners. Gotta do it again to be considered a great team
@@amac9044 No. Nick still brings up that Jokic didn't make it past the second round when he won the first 2 MVPs and that he didn't have 50 wins in either of those seasons. He also mentions Jokic only won 1 playoffs game in that second MVP season. Of course, he says this without ANY context, including several glaring omissions. In the first MVP, they were only playing 72 games; that they got Gordon for only 25 games, and that Murray and MPJ missed chunks of the season. Murray missing like 25 games in a 72 game season should be mentioned. Murray was out for the playoffs and again, they had only a handful of games with Gordon that season so they had no chemistry. Even worse are Nick's omissions regarding the 2nd MVP season. The first being that Murray and MPJ missed the entire season. The second being that Jokic went off against Golden State (the eventual champs). We're talking 31 PPG on .575 shooting, 13 rebounds a game, etc.
As a huge (local) Nuggets fan, let's give them all the grace in the world, imho. I feel we have a good chance of repeating, but I don't want to be the fanbase that complains is they're beat rightfully. Good on the best team, much love.
Don’t let Hoang Bi the GOAT distract you from the fact that Nick called Jokic the most fraudulent MVP ever and screamed that Chris Paul should have gotten MVP over him 🎉🎉
@@jetsettech8804 Its because anytime Joker isnt perfect Mr Inconsistency will use it to take a shot. Then when he's great he will go over the top in his praise, just so that everyone forgets he secretly hates him.
Give? They TOOK 2! You can prop up Denver without lying on Minnesota! They made Denver look like college players but, it's a series for a reason and the best team is winning
@MJ-pu7wk….. I’m sorry but yea they WON 2 buuut…. If you win 4 STRAIGHT games …that’s a gentleman’s sweep… not that it’s happening or happened but it’s on the board
@@ryanlebard3787 that's not my point boss. He (jokingly by him) Said they "gave" Minnesota 2 but the games I watched, Minnesota took those 2. Don't matter if Denver woke up, they got smashed fair and square in game 1 and 2. The word gave was my problem with the statement. Denver not giving out wins
His efficiency is right up there with Jordan. He was a slightly better three-point shooter by percentage but Jordan in his prime was averaging over 30 comfortably over 50% shooting and a mid 80s foul shooter.
Shout out to Anthony for having class. Well done young man. The Joker is simply amazing and its ridiculous insult to place him at 7th all time centers list. He is WAY higher than that.
Joker smashing way through a Wolves like riding a bike back in Sombor . America will remember long time who he was when he go back to his bicycle and horses in Sombor .
I respect AE for keeping it 💯.. I wish more players would do that. Joker is slow, can't jump, not athletic but he is a great basketball player. He showed it last night and for a few years now. Anyone that says different is just a hater..
That’s true. However, he is extremely coordinated . He has very good body control. And his IQ is head and shoulders above everyone else. Bird was similar in that way. Although Larry had a quick first step even though he was slow.
The gentlemen’s sweep narrative makes perfect sense, it’s just that Wildes didn’t pinpoint exactly why. A normal gentlemen’s sweep is winning the first three, letting them have one, and closing it in game five to win the series 4-1. This sweep is the opposite and with a doubling of wins for the loser UP FRONT. Denver spots them two games (like giving a head start to your son or daughter in a silly game of hoop in the driveway) then will win four in a row just to prove how good they really are. Denver is not gentlemanly, they are parental.
I thought Anthony Edwards was baby Jordan. Let these dudes be good and grow to be a great! Jokic is very underrated. Everyone else except Ant Kyrie and SGA just want a check.
Jokic is making fools out of Nick Wright, Stephen A., Kendrick Perkins, and Shaq, and giving them heartburn, upset stomach, constipation, diarrhea, and hemorrhoids all at once!
Jokic puts up all time great numbers while also being one of the most efficient players ever. Hes head and shoulders above the next best player in the league
Okay I’m sorry but Nick said that it’s a reason why Ant hasn’t lead to a championship since he is young…did we forget about DWade- 2006 finals and finals MVP, and how old was he??
Not bad for the worst MVP in the last 40 years😂. SGA and Luka clearly are more worthy and better players👀. After all, they both have the consistent dominance since 2020, and have multiple deep runs and great regular season records despite injuries etc. since 2020. Oh wait, that’s Jokic? B2B incoming!
Why they hating on Nicola Jokic. This man has worked his butt off has he’s not the most gifted athletically but his iq/intelligence on basketball 🏀 is unmatched. I luv this guy and he is so humble with all his accomplishments. This man is a living legend 🖤🙏🏾
Nicks point about Edwards was really solid... no matter how amazing you are... at that age it's just really tough to lead a team to the finals. You see it with so many of the retired superstars... most needed a number of years to find that groove.
Wade did it. (Ima heat fan lol) but yes he had help. Ant does too. He’s my fav player behind wade but he needs KAT to really step up and ant gotta give u more than 9 at the half
@@KingHampton-ul1iwAs someone who was rooting for the Nuggets, KAT’s inconsistency will cost the TWolves more than Rudy Gobert ever will. The day KAT makes a commitment to showing up every night instead of some nights will be the year that Minnesota makes the finals. The way they are built they need KAT to be consistently aggressive to draw defensive attention
This is off topic but as a fan I am tired. The NBA as a sports league needs to be scrutinized. When you can't question authority without facing consequences, that's not how a league or a company should operate. It's more like a dictatorship or a gang, not a place that respects freedom of speech. Criticizing or questioning the official calls shouldn't lead to financial and career repercussions. The league's ratings are declining because people can see through the orchestration of victories. Ticky-tack fouls, referees controlling the tempo of the game by putting teams in the bonus early, and players begging for calls while their team is fouling - it's time for the NBA to stop treating people like they're naive.
