Never understood why fans were so mad at shakur in this fight.. this was a technical highspeed chess match.. shakur even knocked Jeremiah nakathila twice (tho the first KD wasn't counted) but shakur never deviated away from the game plan neutralized his opponent after he found out where he lacked.. this is the sweet scientific way to box!!

Shakur's main line of defense is getting out of your range, I think he'll perform good in octagon. To leg kick him, you need him to be in your range, and to wrestle him you have to catch him first, but he'll always be out of your range running backwards while fencing your head. While legs are longer, it doesn't give you a stable or balanced position when kicking and it'll exhaust you jumping. Grappling him ain't gonna catch him, grappling takes time even on ground and escape is quite learnable, he'll likely jab their head off before they catch him. Those guys can't outbox him either and they got no stamina like boxers. There are fighters who won with lack of grappling and kicking skills, just saying, and they ain't even close to his boxing skills.
