Denver doesnt win when Jokic scores alot, Minnesota has the defense in perimeter to bother Nuggets. Let Jokic cook Gobert for 35+ and lock down MPJ and Murray. Jokic is amazing cause he can pass too. This gonna be a good series.

Timberwolves haven’t made it out of the first round in 20 years. Denver has made it past the first round 4 times in the past 5 years. They made it to the conference finals 2 times and won in the finals. I’d say they have a lot more playoff experience.

@@Marcus-kc9wc you should use your brain before writing a comment. Literally the coach and 3/5 starters (joker Murray mpj) have been with the team for OVER 5 years. Gordon has already played in 3 post seasons with the Nuggets (this being his fourth) so they have a chemistry/history with each other in playoffs that Minnesota has yet to achieve.

This is gonna be one of the playoff series we have ever seen. The best combined defensive unit lead by young but maturing superstar vs the established best starting 5 unit, reminiscent of the beautiful basketball spurs but in this era. Two good smart coaches too. I hope this goes to 7 and whomever comes out becomes the champions
This series is gonna be a letdown and a reminder of the greatness of Nikola Jokic. The Wolves are being overvalued after playing the pickup Suns and the real 2nd best team in the West was the Lakers. Nuggets in 5 again
@@micahpg3407 I tend to agree, I think people are undervaluing just how good AD and Lebron were against us. I don’t think that nuggets will see a more difficult challenge in the west at least as far as nuggets defense is concerned. The offense will need to step up.
Do any of these analysts even watch the games? Towns takes primary responsibility for Jokic, not Gobert. Gobert guards Gordon, so he can stay deep for rim protection.
KAT didnt play...if you look at the first matchup early in the season against Denver, when both teams were at full strength. KAT guarded Joker mostly and Joker had like 5 turnovers that game.

Everyone talks about how the Wolves sweep of the Suns is meaningless because the “Suns are trash,” and “Lakers were way better.” Putting aside the seeding, everyone picked the Suns to win that series. At what point do folks realize maybe the Suns looked like trash in large part because the Wolves made them look like trash.

@@sb17146 My point is that people/media make it sound like Jokic is particulary/specifically good against Gobert so I compared with the AD stats to remind that Jokic is pretty consistent regardless
I am convinced that the majority of the people here don't know how the game is played. Alright first of all Gobert will probably not be the one marking Jokic. 🤯 I know right? See teams play defence as a team. Now with TEAMS like Denver and Minnesota even if you contain Jokic or Ant, the team has other ways of coping. For example in the second game against Phoenix Edwards scored 20 but impacted the game greatly with his game. We are not the Lakers and Denver is not Phoenix. Show the respect the two teams are showing eachother instead of listening to these baboons.

He doesn’t have enough offensive support and can’t be balls to the wall for 4 games in the altitude on both sides of the ball because his defensive assignment is going way up. Naz is putting up 9ppg and Jaden 14ppg with your Kitty Kat at 19ppg. KAT & Gobert have had more then enough time, same as Jokic, establish themselves as playoff stars. They haven’t. Denver has 4 of the 5 best players in this series. Denver in 6. Maybe even 5 again.
