As a C's fan I think they matchup WAY better against the Knicks than the Pacers. Celtics problem is their lulls when they get complacent, Pacers play fast and can score fast. That is not a good recipe for the Celtics I see the knicks as a 5 or 6 game series win for the C's.

Mitch and Boggy got their ankles landed on, Randle fell on his shoulder after being 4 feet in the air, and OG had a freak hamstring pull on a wide open fast break. This is what I mean by people run with the high minute narrative and relate that to injuries

If all those players weren’t hurt Josh hart probably wouldn’t be playing every single second of the game. I agree those injuries weren’t from fatigue but because of those injuries the other players on the team are getting much more fatigued and will just get worse as the playoff run stays alive

Knicks are winning the series regardless if it is tonight or at home Sunday. They would want to win tonight to get more rest against Celtics on Tuesday and I believe they will play with a lot of urgency tonight

I feel bad for Paul Pierce. Behind his disdain for the Knicks is also some jealousy. He was never able to do what Brunson is doing.. Carrying a team to post season series wins is what the greats do. Pierce needed a second star to do that. Pierce never had a post season like this. And doing it IN NYC, WHERE THE LIGHTS ARE BRIGHTEST AND THE PRESSURE IS GREATER makes it that much more impressive. If Pierce watched the Knicks all yr.. he'd know that they aren't doing anything new. They played 82 playoff gms before the post season started. And won them all the same way. Meanwhile.. The Pacers have to change their identity to win this series.

Knicks were exhausted when they got blew out on short turn around. The pacers were not. Game 3 last minute loss wore them out. They will be more rested in game 6 then all playoffs. They should treat like game 7 and closeout

Take a shot every time Paul Pierce says depth Also talking about Alec Burks. Commentary clearly shows they don't watch the Knicks. Alec Burks had one of the worst years of his career this season, Thibs gave him substantial minutes when he was traded to the Knicks and he basically played himself out of the rotation. There was a reason he didn't get played until basically now where the Knicks don't have any other options. The Knicks are genuinely fortunate that Alec has come off the bench basically cold and is putting in work atm.
