What a brilliant watch !! Glen is such a lovely lad, full of good humour. As a Preston fan, I always wished he played for us & after watching/listening to this, my admiration for him has gone even higher. All the best Glen 👍
Im so glad this got shared to me, I listened to the Blake ones, then this, can't wait to get stuck into the next one. I hope you lads are trying to get Stan the man on. That team was the era I became a proper Claret. Also super Glen Little was freakishly good, the slowest winger ever but still managed to skip past everyone.
Super Glen, my fave ever claret of all time! Loved it a great podcast, your best yet. Stan hates Warnock because he inherited his good Bury team from him and he wasn't allowed the money to buy Keily, Butler and Lucketti for Burnley, as well as being a complete prick!
This is brilliant! Thanks Glen as a diehard Northern Irish Claret this has properly cheered me up! Really looking forward to part 2, any stories of Gascoigne at Burnley #utc
Great stuff, but the wrong Bob Taylor was mentioned. It was Robert Taylor who scored the 5 against Burnley away, and he scored shedloads for us over those couple of seasons. Later went on to Man City, Wolves etc
Decided to go through the back catalogue and stumbled across my hero! Went to my first Burnley game in 1992 but As a kid, super Glenn was something else! The guy had anything apart from a yard of pace…….. but watching him beat the same man 3 times on the right wing will forever be ingrained in the memory Get wade Elliott on……. He will have some stories for you 😜
what a player! genuinely one of my favourite ever. seems like a cracking bloke too still got your boots, pal? could do with a bit of your magic now #UTC
He had a blinder in that 3-2 VP for Burnley, was fire the lad! Sure netted at kop end as well, he's super funny n cute as fck, love u Glenn little, blessed to see u at the peak of your powers!
Any chance of you guys making the patreon tapes free for a limited period of time, for those of us who are skint but would love to hear more whilst trying to avoid our families in the shed. (Me, not them)
Absolutely brilliant. Clearly a very strong bond between him and Stan. I was sad when it was over and looking forward to part 2. Best one alongside Geoff Horesfield.
so happy there's a Part 2 to look forward to next week lads, must say Glen comes across as a genuinely down to earth & top bloke and up there as one of my favorite guests you've had on......... Maybe Parky should stick to a LeapPad in the future :)
1.08 its the wrong Bob Taylor. It was Bob Taylor ex Norwich, Brentford, Gills. I was there that game. Finished 5-0. Bob (Robert) Taylor was quality. Sold him next season to Man City for £1.5M and he also went to Wolves for similar fee.
