I had to make a full save/load system just to test my stress level as it became too hard to "win". I started out just wanting to save the player data so I could respawn after death - but that meant I need to save other things and before I knew it (and 2 weeks later) I had built a full system. I have EMS and will use that in the future, but this was a great learning experience.
Note: The art assets are from the Unreal marketplace and they'll be updated once I get a level designer. I'm using the FPS Animation Blueprint (v2) for the weapon system. The rest of the code (Save System, AI, Music manager, level manager, land mine/remote mine system, health/stats, etc) is all blueprinted from scratch over the last couple of months.
