The PC app allows you to record your swing. Is that a possibility for the iPad version? I am surprised you can't use the iPad camera to record the swing
Not at this time. It’s mainly due to the cameras using high speed USB and I don’t think iPads can support the drivers. Maybe someday. For now iPhones work well as a backup if you are only iOS, especially outdoors they work great.
They are going to be similar based on my testing so far. It will probably comes down to personal preference on subscription, software, different features, etc.
Thanks for the content! Bought my mevo+ from you and plan on buying one of these from you as well! Would be great to see 9 to 18 holes on refine with the mini!
Hi Jay, What is meant by the term sessions per profile? For example the pro package had 100 sessions per profile, does that mean you can only have 100 driving range sessions then you would have to open another profile? Also does the Uneekor have face to path or just club path? Thanks, Aaron
Sessions are the grouping of shots. You can just delete one. I rarely have more than a few. Some people like to use a session for each club if doing a fitting or bag mapping etc. But for sim play you just use one session for the whole round and can keep it or delete it after.
this may be a dumb question. If i were to purchase an eye mini, since i own a QED with refine + already, i would assume i dont need an additional subscription. any chance you can verify that?
Seams to be unclear how the regional lock will work. Is getting information that you will be able to unlock other regions by buying licenses for different regions in the launcher. Do you have more information on this?
Sounds to me that USA and Canada sold units are locked to these regions. I’m unsure outside of this but can try to get some clarification from them. Thanks for watching
@@GolfSimulatorVideos Sorry last question, so when that happens does that mean a souped-up computer with a crazy graphics card not needed? I like the GC3 but would have to drop another like 2K on a computer, this seems reasonable at 4500 if only need an Ipad.
@@clints8888 based on my testing not much difference so far, GC3 offers a USB-C connection and BlueTooth. GC3 has 1 more camera, but it seems MINI is capturing enough with 2 and the top camera is higher. MINI is open to more software. GC3 has touchscreen. Not a lot else.
@@SteveMac. Yeah. All depends on your application. I barely putt while playing indoors so I don't care about that much (it's more feel) but for chipping and wedges I sometimes get weird ones with radar which is expected at this price range and indoors.. If you're going to take it to the range then optical makes even more sense. for me it's mostly indoor winter work and gaming. Cheers
199$ a year the difference between a mevo plus and even the mini lite is night and day, accuracy, playability, the software itself. Mevo+ you compare to skytrak, rapsodo, ernest tour. Eye mini youre comparing to gc3 and BLP lol
The subscription pricing model, ESPECIALLY for the 3rd Party Connectivity e.g. GS Pro.... is a real DEAL BREAKER! Having to pay a double subscription is simply gouging the consumer. Having used the larger UNEEKOR monitors, our golf club and the many members within were keenly waiting the release of the Uneekor Mini for range and home simulator usage.... the subscription pricing has effectively turned off every single potential buyer in our group and club (and I'm talking dozens of golfers in our group, and I'm hearing the same feedback from many other clubs).... its just way to much of an ongoing expense and a bad approach from Uneekor if they want to grow market share...... Very Disappointing.
Everyone will have their opinion and budget. The unit is sold out with a huge pre order already so the pricing seems to be doing well for them. Thanks for watching!
Agree'd. With the BLP priced 1500+ less than the Eye Mini - there seems to be little to no reason to go for the Uneekor. They need to drop the price to 3K or make it fully unlocked at 4500.
