I have the $250 subscription but all of my courses are locked and it says i have to pay 200 for them. Is this correct or am I missing a step to download the courses?

I’ve only used this a few times but it seems like when in the target range mode I get more of my true yardages even a bit long if anything, but in the practice or course modes I’m constantly a club short. Worth noting I’m not using the rapsodo balls and I’m an 18 handicap but my good shots seem to get those consistent results. Anyone else have this happen? I’m gonna order the rpt chrome balls soon to see if it makes a difference.
Has anyone tested it vs the play better golf enclosure? I’m about 2 days from getting a sim. It’s a toss up between the full swing uneekor I had thought about mevo with all the upgrades. Just not sure.

I am only seeing 6 practice ranges in my software (Skytrak Plus version 5.0). I haven't purchased Course Play yet. Are the other practice ranges that you showed in the video, included in the course play add-on only?
What's your thoughts on Eye Mini Lite vs Skytrak+ since the 5.0 software update? It's down to those two units for me. I really like the clubhead view at impact with the Eye Mini Lite.

Honestly all these this are simply a waste of time for all LM . Get a LM that gets you playing GSpro . No need to bother with any of this second rate garbage . The MLM2 will get you on GSpro . Thats where you start . There is a reason why every one is doing it . its awesome and there are 100s of courses .
No that should be fine. It’s really something in direct view of the unit like steel beams behind the screen or right next to it. I have found loud noises and humming seem to be the biggest culprits. Lots of people are using them in aluminum barns, and things like that with no issue.

So, I had all the ranges you see within your video there, but all but the six you see on first screen disappeared within the view all screen. Reached out to Skytrak and was told it was a mistake and we lowly paying customers weren't supposed to see the additional ranges. Pretty frustration since I was also told a year ago, when I bought my Skytrak+, that angle of attack and clubface impact heatmap would be something released soon and it's been more than a year with no release. The clubface impact heatmap was also something found within Skytrak stat explanation videos but not released to the public. Seems like quite a few mistakes teasing something out there but not available to us peasants.
Yeah I am not sure other than they said essential package customers will get the improvement ranges. I think the face heatmap was a beta on impact they are yet to release, probably work in progress but not certain. It is possible that it is feature only for GolfTech fitters but once again not certain.

I am really interested in this unit. For the 2-3 times a year I have a friend from out of town come in that is a lefty what options do I have? Not a deal breaker if not possible, but say I am running GS PRO and I know ahead of time that I want to play a round with him. If I have ethernet cable ran to both sides along with power and I play the option to play all the way to the hole {which I learned from you} could I let him play to the hole and easily unplug and play for a righty easily enough? What does recalibration look like MIDround if it is even possible??
So some are just moving the unit to the other side and leaving the cables in front, it can work. It is not meant to be for Left/Right but it can work. I think what most do is let the right handed finish the hole, then flop and let the left finish the hole. @@GolfSimulatorVideosMe too. I would be shocked if I’m wrong. Exact same thumbnail image for Copperhead…go compare the two. And all those courses were some of the early releases from Trackman. Too much of a coincidence. Looks like maybe some textures swapped out on vegetation…but they for sure look like TM courses.
@@ltbanner2804 I’ll compare when I have some time. I never played VG1 only VG2 and they are for sure much different. Keep in mind I think both are using Unity, these engines when used the same way can look very similar other than textures that are chosen. I’m not a software engineer by any means but usually can pick up on which engine is being used pretty easily
@@GolfSimulatorVideosThey are VG2 not VG1 courses. There was another video posted of the new Skytrak courses. The first hole of Skytrak Pebble Beach has the exact same features as the TM version. EXACT same building designs, EXACT same car design and placement, EXACT same tree placement. They are 100% Trackman courses…I’ll bet you $10K ???
@@ltbanner2804 yeah I mean it’s very possible. I see the similar characteristics, etc. I haven’t put them right side-by-side and I play so much software. I’d really have to do that. I don’t disagree with you. It’s extremely similar. It’s very possible they bought the software or leasing it or something. Based on the gameplay, it would be the graphics though and not the ball physics. This would be a pretty smart move on Trackman to lease out virtual golf version 2, when 3 is dropping soon. That would be a solid revenue stream. I’ll get confirmation on it all.
Yeah I think it’s all about the user preference and of course iOS coming this fall is big for a lot of users. GSPRO is great and maybe it will be an official connection at some point too. I think a lot of users struggle without a simple turn on and go software. I know this because I talked to a lot of them and try to help :-)
@@GolfSimulatorVideos makes sense. I think e6 connect for Skytrak is pretty turn on and go… it’s not as pretty as this looks though, but it’s also $100 cheaper.
Yeah, I think that would be smart on their part to offer a trial for users. Even if it was just for a few days, I think it’s enough to get a look at it and make a decision.
Yeah, I think it’s reasonable. That’s always gonna be a little bit of a personal preference subject. I actually hear from a lot of users they don’t mind a shot delay because they are hitting into a net for looking over it screen, etc..
I run the iPad version of the range software in the Apple Vision Pro. Works better than a projector/screen setup; I hit into a net in an outdoors semi-enclosed carpark.
@Indiana_Maximus I'm experiencing the same thing. Have you determined what's up? I'm guessing there is more to "Course Play" than just the courses, perhaps these practice ranges are also premium content only unlocked at the next level?
I’m excited that at some point it will release for iOS users. I really don’t wanna spend anymore money after dropping 3K for the Skytrak+. I don’t need a gaming pc/laptop right now. I just hit into my net and pair my iPad to a large tv in my garage… great video! Any know about of playing users online in the future? That would be even doper!😏
@@GolfSimulatorVideos so I spoke with some techs at Skytrak. The iOS version is due to release sometime in September. And it will only be compatible on iPads that have the M2 chip. So older iPads it will not work. I have to decide to I wanna spend the money and get a gaming laptop or just get a newer iPad with the M2 chip…🤔
@@Blackcloud319 yeah September is an estimate not a guarantee but they hope for around that time as of now. I did find out the same at least as of right now minimum specs look like M2 iPad. They just launched M4 so makes sense honestly.
@@GolfSimulatorVideos then I shall get the newest iPad. M4 it is! I think the graphics of the sim golf will take a hit similar to E6 graphics on the iPads. But it’ll be worth try saving money in my eyes. Gaming laptops and impact screen plus a short throw projector adds up… not only that, my garage isn’t heated so during the winter months, the short throw projector would hate me lol. iPad, not so much!
So it sounds like they are hoping for a September iOS release. They have over 30% of users on iOS and it is important to them to get it done. Being it is July that is pretty soon!
@@captaingunn7853 this new course play is an add-on so I’m sure you need to add it. The real differences anyone who had the game improvement package is meeting, moved over to essentials. Regardless of what they, if anyone wants the course play it’s a $220 add-on.
Good set of features for Skytrak users. Not sure it'll be enough to make me want to give up GSPro and SGT functionality. If anything, it makes me excited for the reaction that GSPro developers should be planning as response to this and E6 Apex.
@@stefanbild6869 Software will always come down to personal preference. The reason I say this is even if you build a feature list of each, everyday someone tells me why they like one better than the other. It can be budget, features like games, number of courses, some just like the look of certain ones, some like how they can run some on lower end PC's ipad, some like games offered, some like certain type of gameplay characteristics, it's honestly fascinating to hear how so many people like so many different ones. I would say TGC 2019 is probably the all time most popular for SkyTrak, GSPRO is probably one of the most all around popular for launch monitors right now, E6 still has a huge base of users and might grow with the new APEX coming. Creative Golf still is successful with it's easier to achieve graphics demands. Heck even WGT has a bunch of users, but I have to say the gameplay on that is far from realistic regardless of what someone says imo unless there was a huge update recently which I have not heard of.
