Was this in regards to the skills challenges video? If so no I can't really see it helping improve my game if I'm honest it didn't really provide enough data for me to understand the flaws in my game.. I'll definitely have more of an in-depth video coming soon explaining how to use data to improve 👍👍
Hey Joe, is thr swing optix video pop up an option somewhere? I just bought a lite unit and mine doesn't pop up after shots, and I can't figure out how yours did.
i wish GS Pro would allow more options on the range.... that range looks so much better than GS Pro's range but yeah, all the software is very 'arcadey'.... bummer you have to buy the Pro Package to have the 3rd party connector for GS Pro. :( I'd give anything to have to post shot camera view on GS Pro. On verge of upgrade my OG Skytrak to an Eye Mini Lite.
Yeah unfortunately that's the way a lot of them are going now... Just all subscription based! Annoying for us users but at least hopefully it means The company will have more money coming in to support the units for longer... Wishful thinking! Lol Eye Mini Lite would be a massive step up from OG skytrak. That would be a good upgrade in my opinion.
Uneekor will always have that arcade feel. Probably even the new Game Day (or whatever they will call it). They cater heavily to the Asian market, and that arcade style is seemingly popular in that space. I suppose it depends on what you grow up with and are used to as to what you prefer. It is not bad, but GSPro (and to be fair, TM software) is in a league of its own.
Yeah you're completely right! It is a Korean company after all.. I have played game day and it is the same with that arcade feel. I think GS Pros in A league of its own trackman is a little bit behind. Not much, but a little bit behind in my opinion. Trackman's a lot better at the fitting software with optimisation and AI stuff.
You have tested most of the Launch Monitors on the market. If you had to buy one Launch Monitor and Software package, and you had $4, 4.5k to do it with, what would you choose?
That's a really good question mate... I'm assuming USD? Software is easy.... GS Pro hands down. Launch monitor would be the hard one. Id probably end up with the eye mini lite to be completely honest. It's GS Pro supported and the best bang for buck. If you had a bit more and you do live in the states there's an argument to get the GC3 ball data only unit. And then have the ability to unlock club data later down the line. BLP is rediculus with the subscription fees.
Thanks Joe. A year or more ago it would have been quite good but now it doesn't stand up to a comparison with GSPro. I like the adjustment for tee height though as I like to play around with different heights.

You're absolutely right.. comparing it to other commercial software it is quite good so I've used X Golf, Big Swing (full kit) and this software beats those but is just nowhere close to GS Pro. It does have some good points though and I can't wait to do a video on game day when it's officially released.
I wonder if there’s a way to replace refine+ with game day (whenever that comes out). I just bought the eye mini lite and have not downloaded it into my PC yet, but no interest in refine whatsoever.
Yeah I definitely feel you there mate. I have no interest in refine to be completely honest. As soon as you play GS Pro there's just no going back to anything else. I think they will reserve game day for their higher subscription tier. Just my thinking..
Thanks for the super mate! This new firmware has definitely made all the difference 👍. Yes I feel the club path is accurate however it's next on my list to really test in depth the same as angle of attack... It's funny I remember when I was testing against a mates GC3 a whole ago that has club data the foresight was saying my club path was more into our than the eye mini. That being said the club dot wasn't in the correct spot for the foresight. I'd love to just have a GC Quad in the house so I could have realistically the golf standard to test against!
I've had a few random misreads recently where it's picked up the tee but for the majority it's been pretty spot on 👍 it's not perfect that's for sure.. they still have a bit of work to do.
