What it sounds like Leila is pointing to around minute 19 is a framework studied by psychologist Gretchen Rubin called WOOP - which stands for "Wish, Outcome, Obstacle, Plan." There's research indicating that simply by visualizing an ideal outcome, you're not necessarily more likely to achieve it. However, if you ALSO think through and each of the obstacles (like how Leila describes thinking about what might go wrong on stage) and how you'll overcome those obstacles, THEN you're more likely to achieve the goal! It's science :)

I just did my first Bikini comp and it has helped my business and general mindset tremendously.

A lesson that I have to constantly practice is nothing last forever. Not even relationships/friendships but you remain. Letting go so I can excel. Ordinary has held me back my whole life.

I 100% agree. Learning how to do what's required despite how you feel is such an advantage in business. It's so weird how you legit forget everything on stage lol. It happened to me 4x. Same time for first few public talks lol. The practicing is so key! When you have the certainty you have prepared, even if you're nervous - you're certain and that's key.

I can relate to Leila talking about not being able to accurately perceive myself. I recently ran a marathon and on a bend I saw runners who ran fast and had amazing runner physical "builds" and I was like, "those people are better runners". I then realized that the bend where I saw them I had already passed. I then told myself, "No. I am the better runner" and it motivated me to the finish. We are usually farther ahead than we think.

Maybe this is off topic but I’m wondering if a big part of what kept her going was loving what she was doing (fitness/business)… I’m guessing that “this is what hard feelings like” is easier to get through when you are loving what you do while becoming something greater than what you have loved. Thanks for sharing your keen insights.

I am here again. and yes I have always been taught achieving something will make me happy but when I get there there is nothing to be happy about. but when I stopped paying attention to the result and focused on the process I became happier. I WOULD WORK WITH MY TEAM and they would be giving all the credit but you know what i gained? The experience, the knowledge the change that came the lessons learned.

How would you rate happiness vs wealth as a correlation, Mrs Hormozi? It seems a lot of people get caught up in chasing the next dollar when that is no longer needed, and other things in life should be valued at a much greater rate? I was where you are -albeit in a lower amount of wealth than you, but still more money than I know what to spend it on, ten years ago, and realizes life passed me by while chasing what I already had enough of. Have you given this any thought?

I wouldn’t recommend signing up for her courses. I applied to speak to someone from her team and they never sent me the link, ghosted me after I told them my monthly revenue for my business. I’m a small business owner and looking to grow/ learn how to scale it. It’s sad and unfortunate for them. I’ve lost complete respect for her and this channel.

Also a lot of these courses are common sense, no one can teach you or help you but you. She’s a fraud. Don’t be a consumer.
