I'm sick of it mate , so hard to get motivated to go camping in the pissing rain , knowing the fire will be a struggle , tarps need to go up, and having to dry all your gear afterwards . Bring on the sun even if it's a midge fest 😁 thanks for watching pal , hope all's well with you 👍🏕

I'm disappointed I didn't get to sleep in it also , and as for the laddie , he's got to learn , if he was on a solo he'd have wet feet for the journey home, he had aqua shoes so it's not like I made him walk out barefoot 😁 thanks for watching 👍🏕

Dd 4×4 need to get a smaller one for solos , at a push I can use my poncho as a tarp on a solo

yeah i have a dutch poncho that you can use as a tarp to 👍👍

@@ELUSIVEDARTMOOR tarps are very handy in Scotland as it always rains and I hate being stuck in my tent

@@OUTDOORALLY yea it was my first tent ,, my folks bought it for me when I was a scout , then ended up using it when I had a go at the duke of Edinburgh award scheme .

Welcome to the channel pal , yeah Chris from blot outdoors seems a good lad .Get yourself back out camping , cairngorm 2 us a decent tent . If your looking for places to go , just check out my other videos , I don't usually hide where I go and if I do it's for a reason , so the places don't get trashed . Get yourself down the Galloway Forest head into the woods find a spot and set up . Most times I go out , I just drive to a certain area , stop the car somewhere , go for a walk and find somewhere to put my tent up .

@OUTDOORALLY ideal brother, thank you. Got the cairngorm 2 on marketplace for 50 notes. I usually use my coleman avior 3. I was going to head to dungavel forest. Its only 5 mins drive up the road from me. This is my first camp of the year so I was gonna be soft and make it an easy one. I'm 100% going to take your advice and try that area next time. Anyways I'm now hooked on a new camping channel. Even better its a Scots lad that drinks the ultra tonic. Great vids mate 👍

@OUTDOORALLY please, for a bit of banter. Not to copy blot but it would be hilarious if you done a tonic review based on the bottle number. Now you and I know it makes no difference but I thought about doing it for banter for ages. Be a funny addition to the channel. Dungavel is a thick pine forest. Actually quite a creepy place, allegedly haunted but nice. I think I'm going to patch dungavel and head to galloway forest Park. I've taken the kids to camp at culzean castle a few times. Stunning area.

Hi Jamie ,always have duct tape , so handy for everything when out, yeah not giving up on it yet , going to buy some cowls for the top spike parts of the poles and maybe reproof it , will definately see this old boy out again in the summer . @OUTDOORALLY Nice. Hope you get a few quid soon. I'm starting to pick up a few subs. In about 10 months if I get there I'll ask you how it works. I have no idea. I've heard 1k subs needed and so many views. I'd be happy in the future covering my petrol and things like that. It's all obviously a cost. You'll keep picking up nicely I'm still a baby with all this. I'm slowly learning though. I need to buy a better phone soon and mic. Just ordered a gimbal, only a second hand one off vinted. Dji one. It's old model but good. My boy had the same one. I enjoy your vids. I did Ben Nevis in Oct. It was one of my first vids. I walked up there about 7am after many beers with my cousin and then a bottle of port.🤦🏻 I tried to knock myself out because I'm rubbish sleeping in van. It worked well but the first 40 mins walking up the mountain was quite hard😁 I've got a decent engine so I knew the booze would sweat out soon. I carry and drink loads of water with me. I love Scotland. Just a bummer it's 9-10 hour drive. Keep having fun.👌👋

@JamieHarding5 1k subs and 4000 watch hours , youtube is a constant learning process , it's all about constantly tweaking things , wether that's in the editing , the equipment or trying to get the videos noticed . Most important thing is getting out and doing the thing you love , youtube is secondary . You should come on to my friday night livestreams and I'll give your channel a shout out 👍🏕
