We made a few stops on our way home from our upper peninsula deer camp. We took some extra time to visit a few sightseeing locations in the upper peninsula. The first stop was the canyon falls, then on the way to kitch iti kipi we stopped at laughing whitefish falls which was a pleasant surprise

We tried to visit Kitch-iti-kipi least year and it was a 3+ hour wait to get onto the raft. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to spare to see it.

Yeah we were headed home on a Sunday night and we’re there around 7 I think. There was a crowd in the raft ahead of us then we had it to ourself then there was about 10 people when we got it back to “shore”. But I think most people are headed home on Sunday and don’t want to stop or we just got lucky.

Congratulations on the Bear Tag Draw!! I shot a bear in the Shingleton area of the U.P. Years ago. My cousin and I were also drawn in the Baldwin BMU once when only 64 permits were allowed. We’d go to Dunkin Donuts and dumpster dive, get honey combs from Honey farmers, get grease from restaurants, and dumpster dive Little Debbie’s outlets ( all for free) then mix it up in big plastic dollar store trash can and run baits from it. I moved to Florida 3 years ago and lost my 17 Elk Points I’d been collecting in Michigan because I’m no longer a resident. What’s ODD is I can continue to apply for bear points even though I’m no longer a resident. I have 8 bear points and next bear I’m applying for a tag to bring my Sun back hunting in Michigan. Looking forward to your videos!!

yeah too bad about the elk tags but yeah bear points don't go away out of staters can still draw tags but I'm sure you'll have to pay more now for the out of state tag. Thanks for watching and the advice about the dumpster diving. It looks like I have a new job for my son.
